Trash The Flash Mobs – Romneyville – Watch Out For The Underdog in Gov. Race

The police department’s efforts to crackdown on flash mobs are ambitious and important. More important than that is the necessity for the Mayor and Council to declare all out war against crowds who threaten the economic sanctity of Philadelphia neighborhoods.

The flash mobs are now threatening to impact the businesses of the city. The imagery of lawlessness is a terrible thing for Philadelphia or any city. Kids will be kids, and there will always be outrageous behavior. It’s part of growing up, isn’t it? But I feel that the people who we count on are underestimating the impact of the steady stream of youthful mobs that are scaring the hell out of a lot of Philadelphians, and people from the region who are frightened to come into the city.

We don’t need this, nor do we need silence from members of City Council. It is time to draw a line in the sand, or in this case, the streets. The truth is that , for the most part, Philadelphia is not a dangerous city, but mobs that seem uncontrollable can make it appear  unsafe. That is bad news for the people of Philadelphia, and those who depend on Center City visitors for their livelihoods.

ROMNEYVILLE -

Mitt Romney is forecasting that Barack Obama will be a one term President because of the health care bill. This is a heck of a forecast for the man who left office after one term as Mass. Governor, realizing that he probably wouldn’t be elected to a second term. It takes guts. Romney is campaigning hard to become the Republican nominee for President. He may get it by default. The party has a course but no horse.

WATCH OUT FOR ANTHONY WILLIAMS-

The Pa. State Senator was dismissed as an also-ran when he announced for the Democratic nomination for Governor. This reporter forecast that he would be a factor. He already is. The Philadelphia Democrat has gained traction on his most important issue, school choice. And no wonder why. With two generations of Philadelphia kids shortchanged by a mostly challenged educational system, it may be the right time to give parents the money to find the right schools for their children.

Waiting for the 7:45. Going in late. Our job is done here in DC. We will spend the next 3 years packing up our belongings and taking long lunches and saying goodbye to the folks we’ve worked with. Obamawood is tumbling down as quickly as the tower of Babel. And there is a close parallel. Barack babbles on endlessly about socialistic change that no real American is interested in. The cool days of having the first black President are over. The novelty has worn off. The new car is no longer shiny or has that new car smell. This empty suit has been revealed as the fraud and incompetent that many advised against and predicted. Now he just counts the days until he can start planning the Barack Hussein Obama Presidential Museum in Chicago or Hawaii or Indonesia or Kenya. Now this is going to be a tourist attraction. It will be the size of your basement or garage. On display will be a display on failed nationalized healthcare and another on his failed socialistic agenda. It will be filled with books by Marx and Lenin. It will be a lasting reminder of the punk thug from the Chicago Machine that brought a flash mob of socialists into the White House for a test of socialism. Test failed. He failed. Time to leave Washington. Never has any President read the American people so poorly.
Larry Kane you should be embarrassed to be posting this drivel only 2 days after the monstrositous healthcare bill has passed. As a died in the wool left wing looney liberal you must be beside yourself with joy. I’m surprised there wasn’t a 5000 word missive expounding the joy and happiness that big government was back and that more personal freedoms were now safely in the government’s hands. Along with shots at Sarah Palin and the Tea Party and Rush Limbaugh and John Boehner. How could you miss the opportunity to embrace change and join hands with Pelosi and Reid and Frank? How could you fail to comment on the single most divisive issue in America since the Iraq War vote 7 years ago? How can you talk about flash mobs and Anthony Williams and Mitt Romney 2 days after the largest and most ambiguous bill of our lifetime gets shoehorned through Congress? Is it because you fail to have an opinion? Is it because you do not have the courage of convictions? Is it because you are afraid you are going to hurt your fellow looney liberals’ feelings? Whatever your reasons for ignoring the elephant in the room they are bad. I have more respect for some of your left wing nutjob readers and bloggers here who at least put themselves on the line and express their feelings and beliefs everyday. You might as well go back to blogging about SEPTA graffiti and free air at gas stations. They are safe enough topics to blog about as they are not likely to offend anyone.

Biden/Biden in 2012! Courage and conviction even if we have no idea what we are doing.

Larry it is so Larry of you to dismiss Mitt Romney because he fails to live up to your uber liberal litmus test. Because you do agree with his religious beliefs or his progressive conservative views.
If Mitt Romney had been elected in 2008 he would have focused he attention and efforts on fixing the economy and creating jobs. He was uniquely qualified to tackle that job. He would not have created a smoke screen and red herring issue like healthcare reform to divert attention away from the economy and jobs. He would have tackled the real issue of the economy head on. Instead of 12 months of unconstructive and divisive debate about healthcare leading to a bill that neither party can support he would have been working with business to help create jobs in America. Novel concept. He would have shined where Obama has failed. Think about that as you take shots at Mitt Romney. Think about where we would be as a country if we had focused on the one real issue facing our nation. Perhaps that requires thinking outside of your looney liberal box.

Biden/Biden in 2012! Is there anyway to accelerate this process?

    March 24th, 2010 | 7:41 am

I’ve got to admit I’m a pretty dumb guy. Cheating on my wife Sandra Bullock shows that I have no self control and even less sense than Larry Kane. I will say in my defence that at least I had an opinion on the newly enacted health care bill. The “journalist” Larry Kane wants to know about what’s happening with flash rioters. What a sorry representative of the fourth estate. He is almost as sorry as me with my tattoo ravaged body that I now regret. Can one be a bigger loser than me? Well yeah…… Larry is. Larry and his weak blog site, concerned about nothing more than selling tickets to his Beatles show. How’s that going Larry, did you break even or has the Franklin Inst. requested that you work off the rent by being an usher during the week?
I did say I had an opinion with regards to the health care bill. I’m all for it! I’m on Sandra’s policy right now but it looks like I’ll have to get my own soon enough, and I have this preexisting condition which I’m sure Larry is familiar with. I have no spine.

  4. Jesse James
    March 24th, 2010 | 7:53 am

Nix on my endorsement for the health care bill. Someone just told me that the preexisting condition provision doesn’t kick in until 2014. By then I’m sure Sandra will probably have run me over with my pickup truck.

  5. MikeAM
    March 24th, 2010 | 9:15 am

Larry, great points. It nice to see the republican hacks with no jobs or paid jobs couldn’t wait to peddle their nonsense. They are a weird bunch.

  6. Ben Franklin
    March 24th, 2010 | 9:16 am

“This reporter forecast that he would be a factor”. Larry where do you get the ego? Williams is so far down in the polls he is hardly a “factor”. Where do you get your information from Ed Rendell? Rendell wouldn’t know a fact from one of his snake oil opinions. We’ve had enough of the snakes oil salesmen in politics. And you operating as a shill doesn’t make things any better. Your stupid comments and inane observations only cloud reality. Take a break from forecasting Larry and try to render some truth about the Beatles.

  7. Mitt
    March 24th, 2010 | 12:51 pm

Larry I’m a hypocrite and a tool. I enacted healthcare reform in Massachusetts, mandating that everyone buy insurance. Now I’m trying to teabag it up and accuse Obama of the same thing. I’m the most dishonest man in politics. But don’t you love my hair? And my beautiful Mormon family? If you can find an issue, I was for it before I was against it. Flip my flop, flippity flop. The sad thing is I’m the closest thing to a rational human the GOP is fielding in 2012. EAT THE POOR!

  8. Mitt
    March 24th, 2010 | 12:53 pm

By the way, Hebrews discovered the United States in 600 b.c. and Jesus rode a dinosaur all over Utah! See, my religious beliefs aren’t an issue!

  9. VP Joe from Scranton
    March 25th, 2010 | 8:33 am

Interesting that uninformed Mitt Romney haters here are taking liberty with the facts. I guess you should never let facts get in the way of an unsubstantiated arguement. Personally I’d rather have old man smelling John McCain as President than this cheeky empty suit we are stuck with. Mitt Romney would be a significant upgrade. Someone that actually knows what he’s talking about. Had a real job outside of politics. Listens to the people he represents. Lacks a communist agenda. You know little things like that.
Dems are eating the middle class. God help you if you are fortunate enough to make $250K or own your own business. Their approach appears to be steal from the rich and give to the poor. They won’t be happy until no one has any disposable income.
Don’t confuse Mitt Romney for Sarah Palin. If you had used the tired magical underwear line I would have guessed it was Leo. Not clever enough to be Leo.

Biden/Biden in 2012! Riding my own horse in 2012.

  12. VP Joe from Scranton
    March 26th, 2010 | 6:36 am

Robin Hood you my friend will kick everyone’s ass over the next 8 years. You will be stealing hard earned money from the middle class and quasi-rich in the form of taxes. You will be doing it under the guise of paying down the debt. You will in reality be creating an even larger entitlement state. More will grow dependent on the government for basic goods and services. The government grows and you and your uber liberal lemmings smile. Big government is good. Personal responsibility and accountability not so much. I may join Rush Limbaugh in Costa Rica in 3 years. You can get treated like a real American there!
TGIF. Another quiet weekend in Delaware. Looking forward to the spackling demo at Home Depot tomorrow. I’m fascinated by spackle. Personally I’ve always had people that do that kind of thing. My dad use to fill in the holes with toothpaste when we’d move from apartment to apartment in Clayton. That was back in the day when all toothpaste was white and came in a tube. We’ll be going to Rimaldis for dinner tomorrow. I love their veal cordon bleu. Awesome!
It appears that alas Larry has disappeared on us again now that Ticket to Ride has riden off into the sunset. Perhaps it is time for Larry to do the same. Get a condo in Rehoboth and we can kill the summer together at the Parrott Lar. We can talk for hours about the good old days. Perhaps you can put on Ticket to Ride at the Lord Baltimore Elementary School in Ocean View. I’m sure it will be as relevant to a bunch of yuppie grade school kids in Delaware as it is in the hood in Philly. Maybe I can show up and tell jokes. I’m a pretty funny guy you know. I’ve got some tapes for you to watch.
As Barack flies around trying to sell Obamacare more and more details about the plan are escaping. And it’s not pretty. Americans will get even more disturbed by this bill as the details get released over time. Better hide Grandma in the basement and not report her on the 2010 Census. Trust me on this one!

Biden/Biden in 2012! Can’t get here fast enough.

Flash mobs are great fun for the children, its
the adults who don’t care for them. They are
also going to destroy whatever is left of the
economic base. Sadly the kids don’t seem to be
deterred by the stiff penalties. They kept
the libraries open Larry, why don’t the kids
do a flash mob at a library, then sit down
quietly and study. What a perfect way to counter
this nonesense and shine a light on all the
good kids in the city. What are the chances
Larry? How about a flash mob at a community
center where they could volunteer in the spirit
of Dr King? That would be good-right?

Getting ready for a full day of festivities here in beautiful downtown Wilmington. We’ll elaborate in just a minute but first let’s talk about Jessie James. How does a middle aged loser like JJ attract a beautiful Hollywood star like Sandra Bullock? What did she see in this stiff? I hope she got a goood pre-nup. So he hits the lottery and marries Sandy. After a couple of years he gets bored and starts wandering? This bad skin and hair attracts other women? Memo to JJ: WTF dude?
The Eagles are trying to peddle Donovan McNabb and Asante Samuel? Do they think that Kevin Kolb is the second coming of the Polish Rifle? He looks more like the second coming of Stormin Norman Snead to me. Michael Vick is a better alternative? He’s a younger faster lefthanded version of McNabb. Somewhere Jack Russell is getting very excited and not just from his tight spandex rubbing his crotch. What are the Eagles doing? Rebuilding? Getting younger? Shedding salary cap? Shedding their label of a team good enough to make the playoffs but not good enough to win it all? Maybe the first guy to go is Andy Reid. He’s obviously got pictures of someone. He can’t even manage his own family. It’s been all downhill here since the whole TO episode. Transaction after transaction with the same result. TO – can’t live with him – can’t live without him. Another 10-6 season. Another year of 1 or 2 and done in the playoffs. Another year of Andy Reid and his short and unresponsive comments. Probably another 10 lbs on Andy’s immense carcus. Will he be on the Biggest Loser in the fall?
Ahhh Saturday morn. Heartattack breakfast at Maggies. Corned beef hash eggs and hash browns. White toast buttered thank you. On to Home Depot for the spackling display. You just can’t get enough good spackle talk. Home for an afternoon of March Madness. No not talking heads talking about the Obamacare debacle. NCAA basketball. Sunday mornings are dedicated to that stuff. Then to Rimaldis for their fabulous veal cordon bleu. Melts in your mouth. A nice glass of Reisling. Pomme frites. The dreaded salad. A little late night quicky. Does it get any better than that if you are not Tiger Woods?

Biden/Biden in 2012! I don’t have to worry about Obamacare. I’m grandfathered in on the old Senate coverage. What do I care?

  16. Joe Barrone
    March 27th, 2010 | 11:41 am

The cops need to bust some heads. We now have three flash mobs in a month and they are just talking about increased police patrols. What the F- is wrong with this city? You go undercover after the first flash mob and find out who the ring leaders are and hunt them down, its all traceable. THe ring leaders are inciting riots, but somehow our city leaders think its a bunch of kids being kids. They are tip toeing around because the rioters are black and leaders dont want to seem heavy handed in a racial way.

Time for the fire hoses! It has taken decades for South street to be revitialized by non-black business people, and now the blacks are going to be allowed to destroy decades of progress in a few weeks. What businesses would this week consider taking a big lease on South Street to sell up-scale goods and services? The answer is None! Those plans were taken off the drawing board the day after the flash mob. South street could easily become north broad or lancaster avenue, once great places detroyed. The city has alrerady ceded the Gallery to unruley minorities, now south street is going to fall. As Chris Rock says, every city has the mall that white people go to, and the one they use to go to. Wake up Philadelphia, its going to become the city white people use to want to live in.

  17. the other, other, other jim
    March 27th, 2010 | 4:03 pm

Joe, the problem, as usual, is political correctness. The city is fearful of singling out young black flash mobbers. That is profiling and perceived as incorrect. Grab up these little asshole mopes and throw them in Juvy for a year. See how tough they are after that.

  18. the other, other, other jim

“Wake up Philadelphia, its going to become the city white people use to want to live in.”
About 60 years too late for that, Joe. Where have you been?

  19. Joe Barrone
    March 27th, 2010 | 7:22 pm

The city got pretty good during the 90s under Rendell, it had a decent come back. I lived there during the 80s and moved out when a black man robbed my wife at an ATM, which is not so surprising. The sick part was that he pointed a gun at our baby in a stroller to get her to withdrawl the money, so that was it for us. He was a crack addict and drugs do that to all types of people, but blacks on crack with guns is probably the worst criminal, like native americans on whiskey, it’s a different type of problem that needs really aggressive policing. Rizzo recognized that, but he then went too far with the racist stuff and his police didnt discern the good minorities from the bad, so they all stopped trusting the po-lice. We’ve had black leadership of the police for awhile now and its just not getting the job done. A guy like Timony knew how to police the blacks fairly but strictly, and thats the kind of commisioner Nutter needs- A Ray Kelly type- like in NYC. Kelly gets the job done and is not racially biased, in fact blacks and puerto ricans love and trust him because he is so fair. Philadelphia really started to decline under Sylvester Johnson and the current commisioner is no better. There are plenty of veterans back from Iraq now who are looking for work, we need those men to take back the hood, but I dont see tough cops, many look like suburban mall security officers who could care less about fighting crime.

Larry, how are things? Not so good huh. I’ve given up on your site. Too much Lord Abbot for me. As they say a little of Lord Abbot goes a long way (very little).
Oh it’s not his fault it’s Obama’s. F’n black man can’t pick one finalist in the NCAA basketball tournament. O how the media covered his picks with much enthusiasm. Now you hear nary a word about his prediction. Go figure, if Bush had filled out his brackets and ended up with not one pick in the final four, you can surely bet he would be ridiculed in the press. I only lost 10 bucks by copying Obama’s picks but hey live and learn. You know I heard that a monkey throwing darts does better than experts.

  22. Ed
    March 28th, 2010 | 3:37 pm

Larry, while I’m at it, look for more flash mobs in the near future. With all the attention they’re getting if I were them I’d stage a few more. Any publicity is good publicity. I thnk Ira Einhorn said that, or was it Abdul Mumia what’s his face.

I’m not going to pussy foot around, the basketball this season is very exciting! All those big bucks throwing down on the court, I’m surprised Ed didnt know how to figure that out. Why would one copy Obama if he’s wrong most of the time? He is half white, so the idea that he has some great edge is idiotic. People dont ask Derek Jeter for basketball or investment advice since he is both white and black. however, I would take baseball advice from him over my own judgement anyday. Larry is Jewish, and thats why we take media insights from him, but never sports, plumbing or anything mechanical. We should also take resturant and travel tips from Larry,as well as where to buy just about anything wholesale.

I received the following letter from one of my Delaware constituents. I have an aide researching.

    Dear Congressman:
I am hereby providing notice that I am opting out of the new Health Care legislation which you recently passed, under protection of the Ninth Amendment to our Constitution.
In case you have not read the Constitution, or in particular the decision in the case of Roe v. Wade, please be informed that I, as a citizen, enjoy a zone of privacy in all matters of health care. The government has no interest in what health care system I use, if any, what medical conditions I have, or do not have, or who I pay to take care of these matters.
In Roe, the U. S. Supreme Court found that a woman pregnant with child had the right to control her own body, to such extent that she could terminate the life of the child she was carrying, with impunity. I have no desire to terminate the life of anyone, not even myself, and in this law abiding condition I have even less reason to give up my rights regarding my body than any pregnant lady in our country today.
In short, Roe v. Wade trumps ObamaCare. Please send me the proper form in which to register my said right of privacy as soon as possible.

    Sincerely,
    name withheld

Waiting for the 6AM. Early start today. Photo op with Miss Brownlee’s 2nd Grade Class from the McVey Elementary School in the Capital Bldg this morning. Some think it’s a little creepy for a 67 year old man to be having his picture with a bunch of 8 year olds. It’s just part of the political process. Besides most of these kids will be voting in 2012. Right?
The veal cordon bleu at Rimaldis did not disappoint. Melt in your mouth good. Finished off with a slice of Key Lime pie and a cup of joe. Very nice evening. A little disappointing because Dr Jill had a headache when we got home. I’ll use the little blue pill another time.
Isn’t it interesting that Barack is still out stumping for the ObamaCare bill. Hello it passed. It will soon be law. Why does he care what Americans think about it now? He didn’t care when his cabal of socialists rammed it through in the darkness of the night. He didn’t care when polls showed that 60+% of Americans were dead set against any form of government interference in healthcare. He didn’t care when the GOP offered to help craft a bill that would have addressed the cost side of healthcare. He didn’t care that Americans lit up the phones of their congressmen the weeks preceding the bill vote. He didn’t care about any of this why does he see the need to sell this turkey now? He won. We lost.

Waiting for the 7:01 to Washington. Standing in the rain at Wilmington Station. Reading this blog on my Blackberry.
I have a question for Larry and the looney liberals that are killing conservatives here. WTF? The Dems are clearly in power in DC. They control 2 branches of the government. They can pretty much do whatever they want. They have the power and control to enact legislature to fix the economy and housing and deficit and every other problem in America. Instead the looney liberals here choose to rail on conservatives. WTF? What does Rush Limbaugh or Fox News have to do with fixing problems in America? Look at your own looney liberal legislators for fixing problems. That make the news. The others just report.
Dr Jill ordered 10″ of frozen kielbasa at the butcher shop the other day and caused quite a stir. Can’t a girl have any fun anymore? I mean really. Go knows I’m not pumping that much blood.

VP Joe you may be president of the senate but you need a refresher course on how a single nutjob GOP senator like Bunning can shut down the whole show. We love the ability to refuse all cooperation and not try to solve any of the country’s problems. Leave that kind of compromising to the fool democrats under Bush. We will continue to defy the will of the majority of Americans and claim that it’s the others who aren’t doing democracy. Gotta go. I have to stop a school in Arkansas from teaching scientific facts. There’s no place for that in our religious state.

I swear to God, and will not pussy foot around, but if a conservative president ever told matt lower he preferred prayer circles over a formal christian church, they would be called cultist. Even if Mitt Romney said that, where is the justice Larry? You are busy with your Sedor tonight so we know you cannot focus. But as a Jew, you should ask yourself, we have a president who was associated with reverend wrtight, who prays in selected non-public christian prayer circles, and who recently reubuked Isreal in a very humiliating way- is this what the Jews signed on for Larry?

Waiting for the 6:07. Going in early today. So many conservative haters on this site. Are they all just really Leo under several psuedonyms or are there more? In any case it is rather sad. Instead of ranting on their own looney left that is trying to convert America into a communist state they choose to bash Rush Limbaugh. Instead of ranting on a socialistic President and congress that negatively changed healthcare for 70% of hard working Americans they choose to make fun of Mitt Romney’s religion. Instead of being outraged by a lame duck President and congress that has ignored the fallen US economy for 15 months during one of the biggest downturn since the great Depression but instead choose to make fun of Mike Huckabee’s Arkansas. I have to say I’m not proud to be a Dem. Pretty embarrassed I must say.
I think the person/s in question here should go back to hanging out at Reading Station waiting by Philbert for men like Larry. Not that there is anything wrong with that.
On a lighter note I will be doing a ground breaking today at the new national healthcare center on K Street. 50,000 square feet of office space. Not one doctor or nurse or medical professional of any kind. Just 20,000 undertrained and incompetent clerks and secretaries that will be the face of America’s healthcare. You know the type. The ones that work at the DMV. This project is shovel ready and funded by your misguided ARRA tax dollars. What a country as Yakoff Smirnoff use to say. Be proud America this is your new face of healthcare.
Not one comment about Dr Jill’s 10″ kielbasa? You folks are slipping.

Only in the U.S. would an ignotard think that having taxes that are lower than they were under Reagan constitutes a communist/fascist/socialist/Muslim state. The teabaggers are ignorant morons — they don’t know any facts and protest exclusively on misinformation they get from Fox News and Rush. That ain’t a political party. That’s a laughingstock.

Since I suspect the prior post was an attempt to take a shot at another conservative, I am proving that I too can spell backwards. At least I don’t think backwards like our liberal friends.
I am putting out your distress code, oeL, because there is so much disinformation going on here. First, Fox News should not be discredited for being fair and balanced. Just because they are not lapdogs propping up this strawman president like CNN or MSNBC. The major networks have been propping up this stiff since Iowa. Look where we are, another day older and deeper in debt. Secondly, the Tea Party crew are fed up with both political parties and are looking for real, positive change in an nonpartisan way. At the risk of offending our less fortunate bethren, that makes you an ignotard, oeL. Failing to look at the facts and spouting erroneous talking points. Time to come out of the shadows and reveal yourself for the atheist, socialist, treehugging liberal you really are. Embrace Philbert because he is about as real as you are my friend.

  54. Mike Hutaree
    March 31st, 2010 | 10:06 am

I love Fox News because they air people like Beck and O’Reilly who have no compunction about making up facts and using fear to get people to toe the conservative line. I interview people at Tea Party Patriot rallies and none of them know any actual facts but they know what they heard on Fox and from Rush, which is almost 90% factually inaccurate. It’s a great machine. I was pissed at David Frum for trying to dismantle it.

  55. Mike Hutaree
    March 31st, 2010 | 10:09 am

Don’t ask a Tea Party Patriot for factual details about how the healthcare reform bill constitutes “socialism” because he won’t be able to point to anything in the bill itself. He’ll resort to Beck/O’Reilly/Limbaugh talking points based on misinformation and prejudice about brown people taking our white people stuff. Keep it on the general level. If you ask why they oppose the law and they say because its socialism, leave it at that. Prying any deeper reveals that they don’t have any rational basis for their claims, and that ain’t good.

Politics smolitics… can’t we all just get along? This is holy week, let’s cease with the harmful rhetoric towards each other, be you liberal or conservative and concentrate on the real essence of the approaching holiday. You know ….. why the Jews killed Jesus. (Just kidding Larry.) But one wonders why it seems every year around this time the Media ratchets up it’s attack on the Catholic church. Again with the pedophile accusations. And this time the pope is implicated in some kind of cover up. I’m convinced that a majority of the media corps goes to the movies on Good Friday to see the original Exorcist. During that scene when the girl’s head starts spinning I’ll bet most of them get kind of jealous. Maybe that’s where Anderson Cooper got the title for his show “360%”.

I guess being a “Mrs Malcolm Poindexter” was not as easy as one might have thought.

    BREAKING NEWS!!!!!11
    Drill baby drill!!!!
Obama now is proposing to drill for oil off shore. Along with his desire for more nuclear plants, the Obamamite wants to face down the Eco-tards and Climate-clowns and try to end our dependence on foreign sources of energy. And everyone thought he was the second coming of Hugo Chavez. (or is he?)

  59. Mike Hutaree
    March 31st, 2010 | 1:18 pm

Ed you’re right on. This Obama is clearly an enemy of the people and of business. This is the opening move in a gambit to seize all oil in the world and socialize all the oil companies just like Venezuela. I’m strapping on the whole armor of GAWD to stop this socialist/fascist/marxist/Baby Killer/EcoGreenhouse Muslim before he does more things that are consistent with what the GOP has had on its agenda for the past ten years, like his GOP healthcare law and it’s GOP-created mandate. We had the mandate idea first. It’s no good that he takes all our good ideas, which we then have to rely on Fox News to “fairly” demonize as socializt tyrannical constitution-butt-wiping maneuvers. Cause Fox News has fair rhetoric.

  60. Ed
    March 31st, 2010 | 6:16 pm

Please Mike give me a break. If Obama was serious about drilling for oil he would be lifting the ban on oil exploration of the coast of California. He is conducting a dog and pony show with his current proclamation. Drilling for oil off the East coast? What a farce. And as for more nuclear plants, it’s the “not in my backyard” defense that will save him the trouble of promoting the industry. He’s “green” and mean. A mean “green” fighting machine and nothing is going to change him, unless he fears that he will lose the next election.

    NEWS FLASH: New Element Discovered

    Pelosium:
A major research institution has just announced the discovery of the densest element yet known to science. The new element has been named Pelosium. Pelosium has one neutron, 12 assistant neutrons, 75 deputy neutrons, and 224 assistant deputy neutrons, giving it an atomic mass of 311.

These particles are held together by dark forces called morons, which are surrounded by vast quantities of lepton-like particles called peons.
The symbol of Pelosium is PU.

Pelosium’s mass actually increases over time, as morons randomly interact with various elements in the atmosphere and become assistant deputy neutrons within the Pelosium molecule, leading to the formation of isodopes.

This characteristic of moron-promotion leads some scientist to believe that Pelosium is formed whenever morons reach a certain quantity in concentration. This hypothetical quantity is referred to as Critical Morass.

When catalyzed with money, Pelosium activates CNNadnausium, an element that radiates orders of magnitude more energy, albeit as incoherent noise, since it has half as many peons but twice as many morons as Pelosium.

Why is Obama racking up the miles trying to sell the new health insurance law? It’s the law Obama, you won, quit rubbing it in. If you really wanted to explain it, you would have while it was up for a vote, not now when it passed without any bipartisanship. Take your Nancy Pelosi and Harry Reid and go have a beer or two in the Rose Garden. Quit trying to explain to me that this won’t cost anything, and that health care costs won’t rise. Your “hole in the roof” analogy only makes me think you have a “hole in your head”. According to Obama the country has a hole in it’s roof and that hole leaves people vulnerable to the weather. While other people in the house remain protected those in the room without a roof are subjected to the elements. This health care law fixes the roof and thus reduces the heating costs for all the other people in the house. Now that explains everything. Thanks Mr. Obama I so glad you waited so long to explain your health care law so clearly.
