New York Corruption Questions Could Overtake Pennsylvania’s Imagery
Watch out. Pennsylvania’s infamous reputation for political corruption is taking a hit.
Since colonial days, elected officials in Pa. have taken the lead in jail time and horrid publicity for trying to get rich off the public dole. Just take a look at the current bonusgate investigations. But wait a minute! New York is on the brink of taking the crown away from Pa.
Congressman Charles Rangel was forced to take a leave of absence from his chairmanship of the tax committee because of numerous investigations of his own finances and dealings. Now, NY Governor David Paterson is on the brink for alleged problems, including a possible charge of obstruction of justice.
The scary thing is that the New York problems are larger and more serious than some of the crimes facing Pa. lawmakers. Frankly, it is refreshing to see Illinois (Guv Blago) and New York get all the attention . Someday it would be nice to consider Pennsylvania the bush league of political corruption. Don’t hold your breath.

Charlie Rangel can share a jail cell with Duke Cunningham. There is no such thing as a leave of absence from a chairmanship since there always has to be a chairman. After the Pelosi wacko names a new one, do you think that person will give it back to Charlie at a later date? No way, no means, Charlie is done. I have a story that no one will help me with. This story goes on for 16yrs here in the Northeast section of the city. It involves corruption in the L&I Department of the city. I have a story you wouldn’t believe. I have stood outside of channel 6 from 2:30 am until 9:ooam yring to getsomeone to help me I have been to so many people in this city but graft goes a long way. I can just about prove what is happening =but no one will help me please it is worth your time I have pictures,court apperances,crooked judge,crooked lawyer etc.

Larry I read that the Republicans expressly plan to use fear to drive the election cycle. Don’t they have any ideas? All we have to fear is fear itself. And the 51% of Texans who reject evolution. And the 30% who think that dinosaurs and people lived together.

I was just released from the cone of silence yesterday. Barack felt it was important to keep me quiet during the healthcare deliberations. He wanted to let the Republicans trip over their collective schwanzes on blocking healthcare before I said or did something stupid first. You know the GOP has really been backed into a corner. The only way they win is if we scrap the current plans and start with a clean sheet as they are proposing. Barack and Nancy have no intentions of doing that. So the GOP is between the proverbial rock and a hard place. If they engage in meaningful debate and compromise with the Dems they will be conspirators of the worst legislature in American history. If they continue to do their talking points then they will be viewed as obstructionists. Either approach weakens their holier than tho high ground position. Either could have mollifying results in November. In retrospect they chose the safest approach. The majority of Americans are against any form of public option.
Harry Reid has become a real liability for we Dems. He makes those stupid comments about blacks. He is a nancy boy in the Senate. He stands to lose his election in November. Barack has asked me to step down as VP and reclaim my Senate seat before November. I can win in any political climate in Delaware. Beau might have been vulnerable to the political winds. Barack promised me the Majority Whip position once Harry gets ousted. Barack can’t stand Chuck Shummer anymore than anyone else can. He prefers me. He told me the position was more important than VP. I told him I’d consider it. Still have the daily train commutes to DC. I have to admit it’s been kind of nice sitting back and doing nothing for 14 months.

Healthcare will fail on the up or down vote. Obama is in a box, he needs the vote to put it to bed and turn the page on a disaterous first year. He still cannont explain what it is and no one, even liberal Democrats, accpet that somehow it saves money. If Republicans repsond with healthcare REFORM instead of overhaul, Americans will be all ears, it will pass and they will sweep themselves into both Houses of Congress. Newt Gingrich and Mitt Romney will be front runners in 2012 and will join forces on a ticket that will end the Obama presidency, thank God, Mosses and Allah!
Military Tribunal will be used for Shek Muhamad trial, vindicating Bush/Cheney treatment of enemy combatants. Obama will do major shake-up before November, but the professor is not going to make a come back. Has anyone read a review on Larry’s ticket to ride show? I saw Hurt Locker last night. It was pretty good, Surprised it was directed by a woman. It was good to remind people that there is a war and sarifice going on everyday. Also not too anti American, the theme of white Amercian cowboy was refreshing. Virle brave white men like James settled the west and fought the wars since the founding of our country. It was nice to not see the typical Hollywood aniti american portrayal of military.

I tend to agree with his shit or get off the pot vote on healthcare. Either it squeeks through or it gets crushed. Either way it is behind us. The whole healthcare debate which was intended to be a smoke screen for the real problems in the country like jobs and the deficit. The smoke screen has been revealed. Steve Martin and Alec Baldwin are decent. But, to mock that the room was filled with the mother lode of Jews, is that funny? or is Martin using humor to say something else? Waiting for the 8:05. I slept in this morning after watching the Oscars last night. Jeff Bridges WTF? I haven’t seen an acceptance that inane since the indian girl accepted for Marlon Brandon and that is saying something with these Hollywood nitwits. And that Ben Stiller Avatar skit. Aweful. Stupid. Who comes up with these lame stunts and the idiotic banter. They’d be better without a host and it would be shorter too. Why must this lame event last into the wee hours? I wish I had not stayed up.
