Evan Bayh – The Case Of Politicians Who Cut and Run
And to think that Indiana Senator Evan Bayh had presidential aspirations. Bayh is the latest of the not-s0-courageous Senators who have cut and run because the Congress is too hot, too divisive for them.
I don’t buy the national media’s anthem of sadness about all the great politicians who are leaving office because it’s hard to get things done. Bayh is the latest of the quitters.
Too me, being elected a Senator is a great honor, and short of health and family problems, there is no viable reason a Senator or Congressman should walk away from service. True Americanism requires the will and determination to fight the odds, battle the polarization, and fight on to get things done. Evan Bayh instead decides he doesn’t like Congress. He has every right to walk away, but this country was built on the backs of men and women who were willing to stay and fight for what’s right.
This is no time for quitting.
TALIBAN TROUBLES-
After years of covert operations that seemed like they were going through the motions, the Pakistani government has finally teamed with the U.S. to try to break the backs of the Taliban. Their number two, Mullah Abdul Ghani Baradar’s , has been captured alive. The Mullah was one of the great architects of the Taliban’s murderous rampage through Afghanistan. Hopefully he’ll talk. Even if he does, he should face trial and hopefully face execution for murder. In recent years, the Taliban has been portrayed as hopeless revolutionaries. But please remember that they destroyed and permitted a training ground for Bin Laden’s false prophets to commit mass murder.

Cut and run. Cut and run. Evan Bhah and the rest of his compatriots are taking the expedient route. They are quitting before they can get fired. They are resigning before they can be defeated. They don’t want the tarnished record. They figure they’ll sit out the next 4 years and ride back into to the rescue when the neophytes fall in Congress. “This is what happens when you don’t re-elect experienced politians.”
Kind of like the situation we have now with an incompetent, socialistic President. People now realize they would have been better off with Johnny Mc. Less government and less socialistic change. Change is only good when the changes are good.
What would you propose Evan Bhah and his phony baloney Democratic colleagues do? Stay in the race, spend millions and get embarrassed? Larry, you’d be the first one driving Arlen Spector home from Washington if he resigned. Warm up the Camry, Larry, you are driving to DC to pick up Snarl’in Arlen. You may want to remove your floormat first.
The people calling Obama a socialist must have forgotten the expansion of government over the last 8 years.

I think Bayh resigned because he senses there will be an opening in the Democrat party in 2016 to run against the incumbent Republican President.

Blah, increases in government spending over the last 8 years were created by a the same Democratic Congress we are celebrating today. Throw in the trillions of dollars for Iraq and Afghanistan. That’s where your government spending comes from, not government expansion. Perhaps you would have prefered to cut and run from Iraq as your peace-nik counterparts in the Socialist Party.

Larry I’m afraid I’m related to the Joe Stack who flew his plane into the IRS building in Austin TX. When investigating my family ancestry I found the Stack family. I asked my aunt who these people were, all she said was that “the Stacks worked all day and danced all night and apparently died young”. I’ll get back to you if I find out more on this subject.

Jesse Jackson in town to probably give away “other peoples’ money” (our tax dollars) was asked about the recent flash mob scene down town said it was the schools’ fault. The schools’ fault, not the animals who perpetrated the madness not their parents who reared these pieces of shit, nobody was to blame according to Ole Jesse but the school district.
The flash mob in Phildelphia was very disturbing. White people used this concept to have pillow fights or snowball fights and they were always low key fun events. Now that has been ruined and the race huslers will eventually argue there was even an element of racism in how this was hadled becasue the kids were black. What if it was the week of the auto Show and innocent families were walking around trying to see the city? People could easily have been killed. Glad to see the city is prosecuting the kids, but the problem at the Gallery was well known and they disrupted a black flash mob last month, so city and schools knew it was brewing. Not enough police in sight is one problem. The other is that more German Shepards and jack booted cops with fire hoses and black jacks could stop this before it ever happens again. These kids need to have their heads bashed in, thats the only thing they understand or respect. The city is dying on the vine and this crap is not happening in other major cities with large populations of uncontrllable black teenagers, in Philadelphia they have no fear of the police.
What I really hate are the Dickie Clarks and the Tiny Y’s who post here.
