Time Running Out On Peaceful Solutions To Iranian Crackpot Regime- And Texas Pol Destroys Her Campaign

Did I miss this one? I was about as naive as some of our diplomats. It was about ten days ago when I noted that the Iranian crackpot Ahmedinejad had agreed to have his uranium enriched in other countries. I felt it was a direct reaction to U.S. installation of anti-missile batteries to protect our allies in the Middle East. Now, the fiery leader has already taken back his offer. He addressed a rally marking the Iranian revolution by declaring that Iran is now a “nuclear state”. While he was speaking, bloody henchmen of the regime were beating up dissident leaders.

It’s sad to say but time is running out on peaceful options, including sanctions, to deal with the most dangerous regime on the planet. Watch for a tougher stand, and very shortly, from the Obama White House.

SPEAKING OF CRACKPOTS

This one is hard to believe. A serious candidate for the Republican nomination for Texas Governor, Debra Medina, may cease to be a serious candidate any minute now. On Glenn Beck’s radio show, she refused to disavow conspiracy theories that our government may have been behind the 9/11 attacks. These are her words.

“I think some very good questions have been raised in that regard. There are some very good arguments, and I think the American people have not seen all of the evidence there, so I have not taken a position on that.”

Beck dissed her at the end of the show. Good move Glenn.

This woman is running for Governor of Texas. It was just 10 years ago that a Governor of Texas was elected President. After this freakish statement, there appears little chance that Ms. Medina will have that  same opportunity.

Glenn Beck and Larry Kane want the status quo to continue. But those days are over………..

Medina Campaign Responds to Glenn Beck Interview
by Debra Medina on Feb 11, 2010

I was asked a question on the Glenn Beck show today regarding my thoughts on the so-called 9/11 truth movement. I have never been involved with the 9/11 truth movement, and there is no doubt in my mind that Muslim terrorists flew planes into those buildings on 9/11. I have not seen any evidence nor have I ever believed that our government was involved or directed those individuals in any way. No one can deny that the events on 9/11 were a tragedy for all Americans and especially those families who lost loved ones.

The question surprised me because it’s not relevant to this race or the issues facing Texans. This campaign has always been about private property rights and state sovereignty. It is focused on the issues facing Texans. It is not a vehicle for the 9-11 truth movement or any other group.

The real underlying question here, though, is whether or not people have the right to question our government. I think the fact that people are even asking questions on this level gets to the incredible distrust career politicians have fostered by so clearly taking their direction from special interests instead of the people, whether it’s Rick Perry and his HPV mandate or Kay Hutchison and voting for the bank bailout. It is absolutely the right and duty of a free people to question their government. Texas does not need another politician who tells you what you want to hear, then violates your liberties and steals your property anyway. I fully expect to be questioned and to be held accountable as Governor, and that’s the underlying issue here: should people be questioning their government. And the answer is yes, they should be.

Larry, your tough talk & implied action regarding Iran surprises me.We don’t want any sort of war with Iran, the consequences would be disastrous. An Iranian blockade of the Strait of Hormuz would have far reaching results, gas would skyrocket & our fragile economy would take another hit.Nor should we wish for any proxy (Israel)involvement.

Didn’t Cynthia McKinney win reelection spouting the same 9/11 nonsense ?

Speaking of crack pots it looks the the last Kennedy in Congress is leaving office. Patrick Kennedy is whose father Ted just gave up his seat to a Republican will not run for reelection. It’s like all my dreams came through. No more Kennedys in Washington. As they say “it’s a good start”.

Larry hang in there one of these days something that you predict might actually come true. But if I were you I’d stick to looking back at the past.

Larry is a on a tear with these daily news
flashes, its hard to stay current. He has
resorted to name calling using crackpot to
describe a man who is highly esteemed by
many Islamists. He was an invited guest to
Columbia University and has outsmarted the
U.S at just about every turn, he is hardly
a crackpot, Kim Jong I’ll is a crackpot.
There is no chance Obama will confront Iran,
there are not enough boots available to
a ground war, old Europe will not help and
our economy could not fincace it. America is
over the barrell at the moment and Iran knows
it. China want the oil and will back them, they
could care less about Israel and will prove it.
They are even telling Obama he can’t meet with
Dali Lama, they hold the money bag, so we will
do as they say until we don’t so desperatly
    need their financing.

I noticed a number of people I knew on Larry’s
Facebook page. One is a very decent fellow who came from an
excellent family in Wallingford PA, If he is a friend
of Larry’s it means Larry is probably a decent
    guy after all.

I’m a little worried about ticket to ride
sales. I think Larry should give a few away each
day on his website. It’s called cross promotion
Lars. It drives traffic to the website, people
fill out an entry and you do a random selection
each day. Not surprised that Larry didn’t think
about such a great idea, it’s yet another value added
aspect of the Great Lord Abott! Check with PS,
he”ll agree, great minds think alike you know ;)

Just watched the video of luge racer getting killed, not as disturbing as beheading of Daniel Pearl, but very tragic. The Canadians are in denial that the course is too fast, it will be a shame if another person dies because they cant own up to problem. They should learn from Toyota and come clean now. When in doubt, blame Canada!

The Home Depot parking lot has finally been cleared of enough snow for the Secret Service to form its little circle the wagons around my SUV. I remember the days when I caused a stir driving over here in my pimped out Lincoln. Now it’s 5 SUVs everytime I go anywhere. I almost had to get a larger driveway built at home.
Most of the Secret Service guys quietly enjoy my Saturday routine. Sure some would rather be off or at home. They like the breakfast specials at Maggies. (Pigs in a blanket this AM) They enjoy the demos at Home Depot. Today it is on chalking bathrooms. This is an art. I always say you can’t get a good chalk job anymore. If you do you really have to pay for it. I’m really interested to see just how the pros do it. It is truly an art form when done correctly. Speaking of leaving the tough jobs to the real professionals tonight Dr Jill and I celebrate Valentine’s Day. Our relationship has been interesting. First I was a sketchy 31 year old lawyer trolling UofD looking for a 21 year old coed. The Newark police tried to get a restraining order on me. Then commuting Congressman riding the train to DC everyday as my young wife raised my new family and old family. She was a bit of a vixen back then. Now I’m 67 and she’s 58. She’s a Dr and I’m the first VP from Scranton. All she talks about are her kids and her passions. She likes the big screen on TV and being in advertisements with Michelle. She’s morphed over time. The thrill is gone. That’s why it better to leave things to the professionals. They never disappoint. They don’t get headaches. They aren’t too tired. They may be skanks but what the hay.
Enough with this snow already. Other than the serious jackpot of bonus time for Cicely Tynan on TV this storm has been a nightmare. Cabin fever. Too much family time. Get me out of here. 4 more months to Parrott time!

Gosh, there are some crude ignorant people who post here. Ed, I hope your profane anger transfers itself into a massive heart attack or stroke. The world is a better place when men like you are dead, and not able to molest others for axpressing an opinion.
