Lord, Sir Larry of Laughalot would prefer to take a shot at Sarah Palin than a known louse like John Edwards, mate. It’s all about their pedigree. Slept in this morning. Bed here in the Lincoln Room is not very comfortable. Firm mattress must be for better boinking. I had the FBI run ultraviolet light over the sheets and blankets. They must have been replaced since the Clintons left. No stains visible.
I know Ed was asking about the attire for the SOU. Barack told us to wear purple. Purple symbolically being the combination of red and blue. Get it? I wore a purple tie. Michelle and Nancy wore purple dresses. I’m surprised that Barack was not wearing a purple suit like Michael Irvin or Shannon Sharpe or Deion Sanders would wear on NFL Live.
Everything last night was very carefully scripted from our attire to the speech to the poignant pauses to stares at the GOP to his nose pointed into the air. The air of arrogance with some faint self deprecating comments and a smattering of humility. All very carefully planned and rehearsed for maximum affect. Make no mistake this was the act of a lifetime. This was Oscar worth. Best Actor. Best Director. Best Producer. Best Short Film. Oscars all.
I have to agree with Fish. I suspect I did look like a bobblehead doll nodding approvingly with each comment. What else was I suppose to do? Yell lier? Rest assured 12 months from now as I chair the impeachment proceedings I’ll be nodding with approval then as now.
Barack did his best to turn the tide of unrest and discontent. I suspect that those that did not believe him yesterday morning still don’t. Those that want to believe in him and his mission of change may give him a second chance. But he has set himself up to fail. It is all about jobs now. He can’t create jobs. Only US business can create jobs. They don’t trust him or his administration. It will be a mexican standoff. No jobs. No re-election.

Impeachment in 2010! Let’s start by replacing this incompetent leader.

Ho Hum is Obama’s speech over yet? Man I fell asleep after the nuclear plant and off shore drilling line. This empty suit can sure throw the BS around.
