Jon and The Chasers – The Jersey Boys Provide An Election That Screams For Sludge Removal

While Seth Williams is the favorite to succeed Lynne Abraham as DA in Philadelphia, the Jersey Boys are providing quite a spectacle. It’s all about money, power, a free beach house, weight, and a big case of the nasties.

The Jersey Boys are mega millionaire Jon Corzine, the Governor, Chris Christie , the former corruption busting prosecutor, and Chris Daggett, the Independent who has scared the heck out of the other Jersey Boys. But as we go online, the pollsters say that Daggett’s legions may be moving to one candidate or the other. With the race considered a dead heat,  that means that this will be a wild election night. As exciting as the World Series? No, but pretty exciting.

The winner gets a state police escort, a house on the beach at Island Beach state park, an executive mansion, and a horrible budget crisis.

The election should not make New Jerseyans proud. It has not been mud that has been slinged in the 34 million dollars in campaign spending, but sludge, dark sludge that oozes through the airwaves like a creeping menace to issue-oriented campaigning. If you beliieved the ads, Corzine loved taxes with a passion, Christie was singled out for his weight problem, and Daggett got a bye because he wasn’t a threat. But, in politics, yesterday’s lightweight is today’s gunslinger, and right now it appears that Daggett voters will decide this election.

Tonight by ten or 11 o’clock the Jersey Boys will finish their act.  The victor gets a state that has proud, independent voters, who know they need strong leadership to remain solvent. The election is in their hands. As far as the rest of you: don’t complain later if you stay home, and someone else elects a judge or school board member who lets a killer out on parole, or raises your taxes.

What Larry meant to say is New Jersey election will
be a voter referendum on first nine months of Obama
Presidency, he’s just afraid to say it because
if Christie wins by a big margin its going to
Seriously hurt the president, Virgina is a lost cause.

Larry will be up late again in his high heels.
but not for baseaball tonight, its his other
    passion-politics! I think Larry is right,Daggett
Voters are going to swing, but he won’t say which
Way. I”ll say it, The fat man wins with a comfortable
margin. and 2012 presidential election begins
    tomorrow instread of next year.

Larry, did you miss the SEPTA strike news? I’m guessing you did as you only ride the Star Line R5 Regional Rail train, keeping your nose clean by avoiding the great unwashed like those of us who rely on the Market-Frankford El.

I’m pro-union, but I’m anti-idiocy. The Transit Workers Union just made a huge mistake. In economically hard times when many people have lost their jobs or have seen austerity measures in the workplace, and when healthcare costs continue to skyrocket, these bozos want big raises and only a 1% contribution to healthcare? Seriously?

The union needs to wake up and smell the stink it’s got on itself this time. Cost of living is not going up — inflation is in check. Why should they get 4% raises each year on the backs of commuters who are trying to get to their jobs, if they still have them?

We need FREE AIR now more than ever, Larry. How else can I fill my bike tires so I can pedal to work?

The FAT MAN is going to sing tonight.

    Republicans traunce democrats across the
country. News Flash, Larry Kane did not
believe this could happen, nor will he now
admit it is a refutation of Obama’s extreame
liberalism. Wake up call to Obama, the country
    does not want socialism!!!!

This spells big trouble for healthcare bill-
Thank God! Next years midterm elections will
take down Obama presidency, its amazing how
out of touch media was on this, they are shell
    shocked on MSNBC.

I wonder what Chris Christie will eat to celebrate?

On the campaign trail he’d eat at every pancake
Breakfast and fish fry he went to, often ducking
into the men’s room to barf up a meal to make
room for more food at the next campaign stop.
He takes exlax with his meals to help pass food
through his system more smoothly, but constipation
and bowel obstructions are something he simply
accepts as part of his political lifestyle. Off
camera he walks with a kane and uses a wheelchair
to support his distended belly that is held in with
a men’s girdle. This man beat an incumbant Democrat
that outspent him by $12million…. There is a
Political tsunami underway for something like
    this to have happened!

I could care less about NJ except for one minor strip of sand which I use to enjoy the ocean during the summer. They call it the “Garden State” but what are they growing, toxic waste dumps. And the smell as one nears North Jersy, that alone must kill thousands of people each year. As for Corzine he got what he deserved. What a fine example of a man he turned out to be. Slimeballs, sludge, mud, feces, this guy threw it all and apparently it stuck on him. Horrible human being and worst campaign I’ve ever seen. It showed how little class the guy has. Just ask Donald Trump, or David Letterman they know all about class, or should I say lack there of…….

Waiting for the 7:01. I was up until 11PM last night watching election results. I went to bed with a big smile on my face. Not a good night for Barack or his socialist cronies. Despite the repeated claims by CNN and network news organizations that these elections were not a reflection of discontent with the Obama regime nothing could be further from the truth. Clearly America is unhappy with the direction of the country and they are looking for answers not rhetoric. Barack is long on rhetoric but short on answers. Jobs and the economy were his job 1. Now he’s been distracted by heathcare reform and Afghanistan. He appears to be unable to juggle more than one ball at a time. He keeps dropping that ball.
Good riddance to Corzine. Hopefully Christie can put an end to the massive corruption and overspending in NJ. It has been business as usual for the Dems in NJ since Christine Whitman departed. The incestuous relationship between labor, crime and the Dems has existed to long. They have run out of sources of additional revenue. I believe they are in for a rude awakening. Enter Chris Christie.
My campaign for the Presidency began last night. I took a giant step forward as the failed policies of Barack and lost hope of millions have come to the fore. I will reign victorious.

Lord Abott I’m with you on your reaction to yesterday’s election results. Wake up call indeed. My only concern is that the Dems will have time to react, spin and reset expectations before midterm elections in 2010. And you could not be more wrong about the Yankees. The skid began Monday and continues tonight. Pettitte will get knocked out in the 4th inning. Aroid 0-4.
Ed come join me at the Parrott at Rehoboth. We’ll enjoy your company. Please insure you shower first. NJ is a beautiful state. 100 miles of the world’s best beaches. Beautiful pine barens and vast truck farms. Delaware Water Gap. Yes Elizabeth and the oil refineries are a wart on the ass. Yes the big cities surrounding NYC are rundown and turned over to the criminals. The fact remains that 70% of the state is very desirable and the rest ruins its reputation.

One last comment. The genius of Larry Kane never ceases to amaze me. In an effort to save the energy and prevent global warming Larry has purposely neglected to adjust the time on his website for Daylight Savings Time. We go March to October with the wrong time on the website. But low and behold the time changes back and we are back on the correct time again. Truly incredible and amazing. Another 5 months with the coreect time. Almost half the year.
Just a thought but since 7+ months are under Daylight Savings Time and 5 months are not would it not make more sense to keep the website on Daylight Savings Time?
Maybe I’m overthinking this thing like Al Gore with Global Warming. Maybe I should just relax and enjoy the next 4 months of actual times on this website.

Biden/Biden in 2012! Our clock has already started.

VP Joe thanks for your support.
We are close to the Canadian border here in Upstate NY. This was in the Canadian press.

From the Canada Free Press :
Written by Dr. Paul L. Williams

“In my own life, in my own small way, I have tried to give back to this country that has given me so much,” she said. “See, that’s why I left a job at a big law firm for a career in public service, “… Michelle Obama

No, Michele Obama does not get paid to serve as the First Lady and she doesn’t perform any official duties. But this hasn’t deterred her from hiring an unprecedented number of staffers to cater to her every whim and to satisfy her every request in the midst of the Great Recession.

Just think, Mary Lincoln was taken to task for purchasing china for the White House during the Civil War. And Mamie Eisenhower had to shell out the salary for her personal secretary from her husband’s salary.

Total Personal Staff members for other first ladies paid by taxpayers:

Mamie Eisenhower : 1 paid for personally out of President’s salary

    Jackie Kennedy: 1

    Roseline Carter: 1

    Barbara Bush: 1

    Hilary Clinton: 3

    Laura Bush: 1

    Michele Obama: 22

How things have changed! If you’re one of the tens of millions of Americans facing certain destitution, earning less than subsistence wages stocking the shelves at Wal-Mart or serving up McDonald cheeseburgers, prepare to scream and then come to realize that the benefit package for these servants of Ms Michelle are the same as members of the national security and defense departments and the bill for these assorted lackeys is paid by YOU, John Q. Public:

    Michele Obama’s personal staff:
    1. $172,200 – Sher, Susan (Chief Of Staff)
    2. $140,000 – Frye, Jocelyn C. (Deputy Assistant to the
President and Director of Policy And Projects For The First Lady)
    3. $113,000 – Rogers, Desiree G. (Special Assistant to the
President and White House Social Secretary for Mrs. Obama)
    4. $102,000 – Johnston, Camille Y. (Special Assistant to
the President and Director of Communications for the First Lady)
    5. $100,000 – Winter, Melissa E. (Special Assistant to the
President and Deputy Chief Of Staff to the First Lady)
    6. $90,000 – Medina , David S. (Deputy Chief Of Staff to the First Lady)
    7. $84,000 – Lel yveld, Catherine M. (Director and Press Secretary to the First Lady)
    8. $75,000 – Starkey, Frances M. (Director of Scheduling and Advance for the First Lady)
    9. $70,000 – Sanders, Trooper (Deputy Director of Policy and Projects for the First Lady)
    10. $65,000 – Burnough, Erinn J. (Deputy Director and Deputy Social Secretary)
    11. $64,000 – Reinstein, Joseph B. (Deputy Director and Deputy Social Secretary)
    12. $62,000 – Goodman, Jennifer R. (Deputy Director of Scheduling and Events
    Coordinator For The First Lady)
    13. $60,000 – Fitts, Alan O. (Deputy Director of Advance and Trip Director for the First Lady)
    14. $57,500 – Lewis, Dana M. (Special Assistant and Personal Aide to the First Lady)
    15. $52,500 – Mustaphi, Semonti M. (Associate Director and Deputy Press Secretary To The First Lady)
    16. $50,000 – Jarvis, Kristen E. (Special Assistant for Scheduling and Traveling Aide To The First Lady)
    17. $45,000 – Lechtenberg, Tyler A. (Associate Director of Correspondence For The First Lady)
    18. $43,000 – Tubman, Samanth a (Deputy Associate Director, Social Office)
    19. $40,000 – Boswell, Joseph J. (Executive Assistant to the Chief Of Staff to the First Lady)
    20. $36,000 – Armbruster, Sally M.(Staff Assistant to the Social Secretary)
    21. $35,000 – Bookey, Natalie (Staff Assistant)
    22. $35,000 – Jackson, Deilia A.(Deputy Associate Director of Correspondence for the First Lady)(total = $1,591,200 in annual salaries)

There has NEVER been anyone in the White House at any time who has created such an army of staffers whose sole duties are the facilitation of the First Lady’s social life. One wonders why she needs so much help, at taxpayer expense.

Note: This does not include makeup artist Ingrid Grimes-Miles, 49, and “First Hairstylist” Johnny Wright, 31, both of whom traveled aboard Air Force One to Europe .

I can understand a hair stylist for first
Lady because African American woman need special

True those other expenses are outrageous. But
not surprising, you’ll find similar staffs

It was the “fat” vote that put Christie over the top. The huge bulging area around his waist attracted the obese and other people with a fetish for belly jelly. Forget Obama and sending him a message….. it all boils down to donuts and pizza. While Corzine was slinging “sludge” as Larry states, Christie was slinging hash and other good things to eat. Wasn’t it Christie who said a “chicken in every pot and a cheesesteak in each hand”. Maybe that was Ed Rendell who promised a cheesteak in each hand, or maybe Rendell was just placing an order for a cheesesteak in each hand. I’ll give Rendell some credit he has lost a few pounds lately but this SEPTA strike may break the diet. Just look at the union boss, that fat, f’n fart fabricator hasn’t been able to sit behind the wheel of a bus for years.

The election results mean that Democrats with no charisma will not be elected. They mean that governors who preside over states full of misery are not likely to be re-elected if they govern during a crushing economic downturn and seem out of touch. They mean that the Republicans are in trouble because the conservative wing is not attractive even to people who almost always vote Republican.

Now stay away from me Lucky Charms.

The biggest message sent last night was from the SEPTA union. It goes a little like this…. “Screwss all you peoples and the buses you usually come to town on” Soes what if the unemploys rate is near 10%, weez wants what weez deserve and that’s a big pay raise (I’z can’t believe i’m saying this) and better health care coverage, plus additional personal days (likes that Wilson Goodes jr, soes we can have a piece on the side too). “Weez also want lap top computers likes those North West pilots. And while we are at it all patrons killed while waiting for a train by teenage thugs skipping school to mug a few people will not get a refund or transfer.” ” I can’t make that point any more clearly”.

The full wrath of the Harry Kalas curse will be felt tonight as the Phillies take to the field behind Pedro Ramierez. Would Harry have condoned using this guy to help put us over the top? Probabaly…. I mean we used Tug McGraw in ’80 and he was a Mets’ hero. We also used Pete Rose, a man who would have stole first base if it was possible when he played for the Big Red Machine. And Steve Carlton…. was he even from this planet? Personally I think he came from Uranis. What a weirdo. Anyhow geting back to Harry Kalas, I only hope that his ashes have been spread accross the infield of Yankee Stadium, at least some of them, Harry was bigger than life, and hopfully even bigger in death.
