Legalize Sports Betting – Make Pa. Lawmakers Part Time With 60 -Day Sessions

You can bet on it! One of the missing links to America’s startling budget deficit is staring the government in the face. The illegal sports betting operations in this country are taking in billions and are not taxed. Delaware is launching sports betting, but only in combinations of teams, also known as parlays. The NFL and other leagues are waging a legal battle against Delaware’s plan to allow betting on individual games.

Delaware has the right idea. The nation should do one of two things: legalize all forms of sports betting, or simply, run it and pocket the profits. Why are we allowing illegal betting, which is played by millions, when we can legalize it and collect the money?

This is a no brainer. Do you agree?

OBAMA IN SCHOOL

Just read the advance copy of President Obama’s inspirational speech to students across the country. The speech will have no role in indoctrinating our young people into anyone’s political views. Having said that, it would have made much more sense for the White House to work out a special time to broadcast his remarks on the networks, and give the students, not school administrators, the option of watching it.

By the way: Republicans charge that Obama is trying to impose his own values on students. That’s a tough argument since three Republican Presidents in the last 29 years have been telling women what to do with their reproductive systems, imposing so called value systems on all of us, and have even endorsed efforts by their own party members to censor what we see and hear. Lest I remind you that a Republican controlled FCC cared more about a split-second bare nipple on TV than all the indecencies leveled by TV and radio commentators against ethnic groups in this country.

Values???

HARRISBURG SHAME – WE NEED A PART TIME LEGISLATURE

Next year will be a tough year for legislators from both parties in politically paralyzed Harrisburg. The lack of urgency to help Philadelphia in its budget crisis is clearly a case of legislative incompetence. My solution: Cut lawmaker’s pay, make them part-time employees and limit legislative sessions to 60 days a year. Many states are doing this with better results than the Pa. Legislature, which can’t even pass a bill limiting hand held cell phones.  Many of the lawmakers are young, but they act like dinosaurs.

Very well said, Larry. The interesting thing about Republican indoctrination is the use of fear tactics, which, unfortunately work. Think about it: “pulling the plug on Grandma”, “death panels”, “Obama indoctrinates children”, “corruption of children watching Janet Jackson’s performance”, and many more. We really don’t see that on the Democratic side.

Larry you ignorant slut. Your bias is showing. “That’s a tough argument since three Republican Presidents in the last 29 years have been telling women what to do with their reproductive systems, imposing so called value systems on all of us, and have even endorsed efforts by their own party members to censor what we see and hear.” You have got to be shitting me. Maybe the notorious “John Fisher” is actually Larry in drag.
I am trying to indoctrinate the students of America. We’ll call them the ‘Obama Youth’. Their minds are young and maliable. The teachers will follow suit if they know what’s good for them. They’ll all go home and tell their parents how to vote. Sometimes I amaze even myself. But that is why I am the Supreme Allied Commander.
Larry you embarrass me. We are out to convert our enemy, not ridicule them. Sometimes I’m amazed at some of the stuff you make up here. Then again I’m winging it as I go along.

Furthermore, no one gives a crap about Philly or PA politics. “The lack of urgency to help Philadelphia in its budget crisis is clearly a case of legislative incompetence.” More accurately, why should the hard working people of PA bailout the incompetents running the City of Philadelphia for the last 50 years? Should those incompetents be held to the fire Larry? Too close to home? Don’t want to offend the good Mayor or his minions?
Generally there is no bailout that I’m against. Hell I’ll be retired in Sri Lanka by the time the current bank and auto industry bailout are paid off. But Philly has to get in line like everyone else. Once I bring down the oil industry there will be plenty of money for everyone except the taxpayers of course.

We know that letting a charismatic president say anything to white children would be a disaster even if it is a positive message about education. We have decided to keep up our attacks based on the alternate reality we inhabit rather than let a sitting president make this speech without a hue and cry from the NASCAR nation of ignotards that follow right wing opinion makers like me. We claim that Americans must respect the president and do what he says unless he is not a) Republican or b) white. Then we teach children to disrespect democracy and the office of the president. Can’t you see how brilliant our plan is? If you can’t, you’re probably dumb enough to believe most of what I tell you anyway. So look out for Obama. He was born in Soviet Russia in 1929 and raped the Statue of Liberty when he worked for the Bolsheviks before he joined the Nazis in 1934 and tried to kill Jesse Owens in 1936. He also took over major investment banks last fall in a fascist communist power grab and started wars in Afghanistan, where we suddenly care about the number of troops dying. You can bet that he’s using mind control drugs on young white girls and that he is indoctrinating them by telling them that education is a good thing. It is not. The Bible says so. You can look it up — it came right out of my ass, er, I mean mouth.

Why is legalizing gambling the answer to solving all the fiscal financial woes? Lottery and horseracing haven’t been the answer. Why would sports games? Besides quit picking on Delaware.
Larry you conveniently forgot to mention the Liberal Lion when you mentioned family values. He was guilty of breaking all 10 Commandments. At least you did not immortalize him here today. As a liberal you make us all look foolish Larry.
Philly should solve Philly problems. Harrisburg should be concerned about the common good. My former running mate, Fast Eddie, lacks the leadership and clout to get anything done in Harrisburg.

Ahhh it’s my ignotard cousin Bush Limbaugh attempting to speak for conservative nation again. I claim no relation to this moron bloodlines nonwithstanding. His ignorance and short sightedness speak for themselves.
When the liberals have no answer for fact and reason they revert to personal attacks. Exhibit A is Lawrence Kane or whatever his real name is. Instead of trying to defend his liberal bethren he instead attacks Republicans for their family values. Let us not forget that killing the unborn, encouraging gay marriage and pandering to ethnic groups for votes is all part of the Judeo-Christian teachings. Oh it isn’t. Hmmmm. Wow he must have misspoken. Not!
He takes a swipe at Harrisburg but conveniently leaves his useless friend the Governator out of the conversation. An oversight? I think not.
Commenting on the banalities of the news is our hero’s forte. Never taking a position or stand. Never calling out a friend or crony. Dancing the light fantastic. Straddling fences. Always remaining PC. At least that liberal lunatic John Fisher is in the fray daily. One must respect his misguided political resolve and tenacity. Larry Dearest hides behind innuendo and inference. Demented REPUBLICAN rightards, and other dimwitted terrorists, in their continued effort to bring down President Obama, encourage children to rebel and disrespect the office of the President!!! They deem it proper only for Republicans like the disgraced G. W. Bush. to influence their own , and ALL other children.

Others have an excuse for extending the summer vacation by another day, teaching their children that its OK to LIE about their reason for not attending school.

They wonder why, in time, their children grow up to disrespect their very own parents, all authority, and end up confused, lacking ability to think for themselves, or in jail.

In ALL the hundreds of years of this once greater country, one wonders if reason will ever again prevail and the loyal opposition favors respect for the office they seek to repossess.

JF you bring up an interesting point about raising children.
Our government says it’s all right to kill unborn children.
Our government says it’s all right to have two people of the same sex married.
Our government takes money from hard working people and hands it to lazy no good loafers.
Our government proposes euthanasiac approach to healthcare for our seniors.
It is no wonder our children grow up confused and bewildered.
Parents of all persuasions and political beliefs have given their children everything they could possibly want giving the children a sense of entitlement and the lack of a work ethic.
Good thing there are no double standards here.

Our government DOES NOT DO ANY ONE THING you claim!!! That you suggest it does is a testament to your ignorant and prejudiced mind!!!

PEOPLE are the government and they seek to protect the RIGHTS of ALL the people based on constitutional grounds. The uneducated, uninformed, or religious bigots cannot deal with that TRUTH!!

That there are instances of abuse, after corporate greed has taken its course on certain elements of society, the lazy loafers, when caught abusing the system, are prosecuted and loose the potential of collecting on future goodies. BTW, hard working individuals are often underpaid, some work 2 or 3 jobs to survive. There are certain benefits made available to them but they are far from being lazy!!

The government limits the right to choose to abort. Given their way, certain fanatics, consider semen, even before it takes on its parasitical form, killing a baby!!

That people of the same sex choose to form a partnership, what’s your problem???

Your continued fear mongering LIE regarding euthanasia has no basis.

John Fisher it is you confused about healthcare not I.
Where do you draw the line about killing babies? The government has drawn their line. Where is yours? Once you say it is okay to kill a live being where do you draw the line. It is a slippery slope at best. Possibly leading to euthanasia.
Obiecanobie himself said that cutting expensive treatments and services to the elderly made sense. How do you interpret that? It’s okay to get your teeth cleaned but not a root canal?
Maybe same sex unions should not be prosecuted as lewd, lascivious and unnatural acts like sodomy are still felonies.
Welfare children grow by the day. The government should put a cap on one welfare child per mother not reward further bad behavior.
4% of the population is considered to be unemployable. Take care of those poor souls. Anyone not working but able to hold down fulltime employment should not receive a cent. The exception would be legitimate unemployment for laid off workers.
There is barely enough tax money to go around now. Don’t encourage more people to depend on the government. Ween those already on the government tit off it.
You are truly laughable. I suppose that’s why I keep returning to this site. Keep up the good work and remember to use as many capital letters and funny symbols as possible.

When it comes to health care, I would include a woman’s RIGHT to choose to have an abortion!!! I would support pssing out of condoms to juveniles who are engaged in practices which have been in the nature of man since the beginning of time. Masturbation should be encouraged as a form of feeding the appetiges which nature has provided. If sexual animals are inclined to BELIEVE in relationships with same sex partners, I BELIEVE that same RIGHT TO BELIEVE be extended to them. Semen is not a baby!! The result of on overnight mishap, and in matters of health and welfare of families, commounities, and the welfare roles, abortion is a personal decision which should be left up to the potential parent and his/her doctors. If you BELIEVE otherwise, that is your right. Your RIGHT to IMPOSE it on others, even to the extent of murdering those who are sensitive to the needs of those involved, is criminal. Leaving illegal abortions, as the only option, is responsible for what in essence turns out to be murder because of the results imposed upon innocent victims.

You have no basis for attributing to President Obama the outlandish claim that he endorses “cutting expensive treatments and services to the elderly”. Either you are a bold faced LIAR or are totally ignorant of FACTS.

You seem to be endorsing abortion of children of parents who have more than one child. In China, I understand that is true to FACT.

Obviously, you are ignorant of the fact that so many people are now unemployed, with little hope of finding new employment, because of the policies of the former corrupt administration of the Bush REPUBLICANS. Those who are too lazy to work are not eligible for unemployment compensationn or welfare benefits???

Again, there would be much more money to go around had not there been so much corruption, warmongering, and support of criminal states, like Israel(for instance). Employment of mercenaries to do the work of the military is another drain on our resources.

The government depends on the will of people, it is not the other way around!!! Sadly, in many instances, corrupt corporate entities (like those who control insurance, medical care, outsourcing, etc.) have the ability to thwart that will. The influence of cults (Judaeo/Christian/et al) has great impact because of BELIEFS inculcated which diminishes the ability of followers to deal with reality. Much of this exercise has to deal with FEAR as much as it does with LOVE!!! The fearful are opposed to love, and progress, when they can’t replace their fictions (BELIEFS) with reality.

  19. Rush Limbaugh
    September 8th, 2009 | 1:23 pm

    Doctor Love (aka John Fisher),
In an April interview with The New York Times Magazine, President Obama said, quote, “So that’s where I think you just get into some very difficult moral issues. But that’s also a huge driver of cost, right? I mean, the chronically ill and those toward the end of their lives are accounting for potentially 80 percent of the total health care bill out here.”

“Well, I think that there is going to have to be a conversation that is guided by doctors, scientists, ethicists. And then there is going to have to be a very difficult democratic conversation that takes place. It is very difficult to imagine the country making those decisions just through the normal political channels. And that’s part of why you have to have some independent group that can give you guidance. It’s not determinative, but I think has to be able to give you some guidance. And that’s part of what I suspect you’ll see emerging out of the various health care conversations that are taking place on the Hill right now.”

    What don’t you understand?

Also most Americans don’t think as Jews and Christians as cults.

There is nothing I don’t understand about the provision which has to deal with doctors being paid to discuss end of life issues so that the person understands that they do not have to accept being nurtured as a vegetable in their final days. In other words, you would have the right to pull your own plug (NO ONE ELSE HAS THAT RIGHT). It’s an option which has been discussed with patients for a great many years. It is nothing new. The only feature (which has been redacted) is the provision which allowed doctors to be paid for the service of informing patients of options available to them.

I expect that legal partners be accorded the same rights as male/female relationships provide. I would lke to see the estates of such partners to be treated as it is with other married couples. I would like to see lovers be able to stay at the bedside of their partners, in hospitals, when illness enters the picture, and that none of their liberties be allayed no matter how they get laid!!!

How many doctors have been ‘executed’ by anti-abortion nutjobs? Less than 5 in the last 20 years to my recollection. When was the last ‘execution’? 5 years ago? Hardly serial killing. A few sick, misguided people acting out on their own. Not a cult or culture. On the other hand thousands of doctors are performing tens of thousands of abortions a year. Where is your outrage in this misjustice? Oh that’s right this is not killing it’s legal.

Who would have guessed that the Obama speech went off without a hitch? A week of protestation and cable rancor made it impossible for Mr. Obama to fully deliver his message to the children of our country. The liberal Left must have been astonished when Mr. Obama put the onus on our future “leaders” to take responsibility for themselves. Funny their was no mention of how the “government” would transform them out of their lowly existence to a greater glory. That seemed to be the message during his campaign for president. All those people that voted for “hope and change” better realize that the hope and change will take place amongst themselves and not the government. The government is broke and the Obama mission is failing to reach the middle class………

Missed the 6:05. Now waiting for the 7:01. Big day in DC today. Long day too.
I was watch the Communist News Network last night (CNN) and they had a talking head that actually nailed it. His thoughts were that the last election was not a mandate for hope and change for Obama. Rather it was a rejection of the previous 8 years of the Bush Administration. The voters were speaking out against Bush and the perceived continuation of business as usual under McCain. Obama was the beneficiary of the backlash. The American people, particularly conservative Dems and independents, voted against the GOP. Now they find that they have voted in a new type of dictator hell bent for radical socialistic government change. This is not what they wanted or expected. These are the people that are jumping off the Obama bandwagon in droves. They don’t want huge deficits. They don’t want huge spending increases. They don’t want government run healthcare. This is not what they voted for. At least they did not realize that this is what they voted for.
Obama is at the first crossroads of his Presidency today. He has to convince these people that he doesn’t want government run healthcare. He has to convince people that there will be a public option and they will be able to keep their doctors. He has to convince them that the cost, not quality, of healthcare will come down as a result of his plan. That’s a tall order. Particularly because that is really not what he has envisioned.

Biden/Palin in 2012! Hell I’ll need healthcare by then.

Lord two comments about your post 105 from the last topic. First, Larry is the ultra forward looking liberal. He’s more concerned about women’s choice than an unborn child. Until the uber left shifts back in that direction, Larry will be maintaining this position. I doubt that will change in our lifetime or Larry’s. Uber liberals don’t consider the fetus as a human being. Soon they won’t consider the sick or elderly as viable human beings either. Thinning of the herd. Secondly, we should be shocked that Larry took a position on anything. I suspect he didn’t realize he was actually taking a position or he would have chosen his words more carefully. He likes to straddle issues with vague comments. This was very unlike Larry. Not sure whether to congratulate him or scold him.

    Biden/Palin in 2012! We’ll take a position and make a stand!

Don’t you worry Joe. I’m going to blow them away tonight. I am a silver tongued devil don’t you know. I can sell ice to eskimos (maybe not Sarah Palin). I’ll have them begging for the government health care option by the time I’m finished. I’ll make it sound too good to be true. In fact it will be too good to be true but hey it’s all about salesmanship. Never let truth get in the way of telling a good story. Like I’m from ‘Hawaii’. These people need to be told how to think. These people want to be told what to do. I’m just the guy to tell them. Get your popcorn ready. I’m coming on live at 8PM. I thought about coming on around 10PM after the seniors had gone to bed. I want PRIMETIME!

I’m going to leak out some advanced info on the health care speech tonight. We will be announcing a variation of the cash for automobile clunkers program. In this program if you turn in Grandma or Grandpa for early termination you receive $5000 toward elective plastic surgery or erectile dysfunction medicine. Turn them both in and get an additional $2500 bonus. Terms of this deal require that they must be at least 80 years old, in serious need of medical attention or fighting a terminal illness. Contact your local doctor for details.

Additional we are considering paying for body parts, at discounted prices of course. For example, we would pay $3,000 for a liver or kidney or $5,000 for a heart. This will dramatically bring down the cost of transplant surgeries. We considered eliminating transplants all together but that plan did not do well in our focus group.
We care about the health and welfare of your family!

Tonight is your Super Bowl Barry, your mother
in law is already shaking her head in disgust.
Mrs Johnson told you not to over-reach, but you
did anyway. In a moment of humility yesterday you admitted
your father was an arrogant man, this was not
news to Mrs Johnson, she knows who her daughter married.
Obama is a man of many gifts, but it is the flaw
of his father that will bring him down. Hopefully
the plan will be radically changed to focus first
on cutting costs and tort reform. However, Barry,
you already cut deals with lawyers and insurers
so that is not going to happen. Obama is in a box,
the bastard son of an arrogant African intelectual
is going to destroy the U.S. healthcare system if he gets
If permitted. Call your Congressman today to
speak out and stop the lunacy in Washington!

Damned Laura Bush supports the president’s speech. That’s only because she is so stoned on Xanax that she still thinks her husband is running the show. Trust me I know. We also know that letting a charismatic president say anything to white children would be a disaster even if it is a positive message about education.

    John –

I just finished laying out my plan for health reform at a joint session of Congress. Now, I’m writing directly to you because what happens next is critical — and I need your help.

Change this big will not happen because I ask for it. It can only come when the nation demands it. Congress knows where I stand. Now they need to hear from you.

Add your voice: Ask your representatives to support my plan for real health reform in 2009.

The heart of my plan is simple: bring stability and security to Americans who already have health insurance, guarantee affordable coverage for those who don’t, and rein in the cost of health care.

Tonight, I offered a specific plan for how to make it happen. I incorporated the best ideas from Democrats and Republicans to create a plan that’s bold, practical, and represents the broad consensus of the American people.

We’ve come closer to real health reform in the last few months than we have in the last 60 years. But those who profit from the status quo — and those who put partisan advantage above all else — will fight us every inch of the way.

We do not seek that fight, but we will not shrink from it. The stakes are too high to let scare tactics cloud the debate, or to allow partisan bickering to block the path. Your voice, right now, is essential.

See my full plan and call on your representatives to support it:

    http://my.barackobama.com/SupportReform

Ours is not the first generation to understand the dire need for health reform. And I am not the first president to take up this cause, but I am determined to be the last.

    Thank you,

    President Barack Obama

Barack was on his game last night but that’s where he belongs. Behind a teleprompter. He should be a talk show host like Montel Williams not President.
Did you see me and Nancy last night sitting behind Barack? We were told it was a 35 minute speech. That wind bag was up there another 15 minutes. And for what? I missed NCIS at 9PM as a result of that wind bag.
Boy ‘John Fisher’ must be important to get personal letters from Barack! I don’t even get those. Maybe that’s because ‘John’ is actually a 26 year old female operative of the Obama propaganda machine. They have their marching orders and talking points for the next 3 days. They’ll be reiterating all of Barack’s key points in his speech. It’s all very transparent. I don’t think that is what Barack had in mind when he talked about transparency do you? Phoney baloney rhetoric from an elitest socialist exposed. And you too ‘John Fisher’ have been exposed as a phoney. Good investigative work Lord.

I was in Washington last night for President Obama’s speech. I just got back. I drove home this morning.
I am still glowing in the resonance of this great man. He reminds me of Kennedy, John that is, when he speaks. People want to listen. People want to be inspired. People want to be swept away to a better time and place. People are tired of this contentious debate over healthcare. They just want it to end amicably. They just want the GOP to rollover and play dead. They just want the independents and conservative Democrats to rejoin the Obama initiative. All will be well. All will be right in the world. Every American, regardless of race, creed or nationality will be entitled to healthcare regardless of their ability to pay. No one will be left behind regardless of their position in life. It will be a return to Camelot. A vestige of Teddy Kennedy brought to life after his death.
The question is who is going to pay for this Nirvana and how much is it going to cost? We did not get a straight answer out of President Obama last night. He was vague on the details of his plan although the intent of his speech was intended to outline the details of his plan. Furthermore there were no details about how he was going to pay for the single largest government undertaking of all time. He just said it would be less than the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan as well as the tax cuts to the rich given by the Bush Administration. At least he wasn’t partisan. He is above that. He is the Messiah. He is the bright light we should follow. He is after all a Harvard graduate. He’s smarter than the rest of us. He sees things we don’t. He does not need to tell us what he is going to do or how he plans to do it. He is above that. He is the Messiah. We should just trust him. Let him wave his magic wand. Let him magical make everything better. Why are all these people questioning his plan, his agenda and his motives? Don’t they know he has it all figured out? Don’t they know he is the Messiah? Aren’t they paying attention? So healthcare will soon become a reality as the grand old party has enough votes until the 2010 election to vote through any piece of crap legislature. We will be paying far more in taxes for healthcare than we did for employee healthcare. We will see our quality of service diminish overtime. We will see private doctor’s offices morph into government run clinics. We will see hospital consolidation and emergency room services reduced to life threatening ailments. We will see our elders discarded through selective medication. Oh what a great America it will be. 10% of everything we earn will go to paying for healthcare run by the government that cares so much about you. It will be a glorious day. It will begin a glorious era. It will be the closest we will ever be to Nirvana. Is that what we really want or need? Would it not make more sense go after the current roots of expensive healthcare like torts, doctor’s insurance and scanning equipment amortization? Would it not make more sense to fix the existing system than create a new one? What am I thinking about? He is the Messiah. He does know best. We will all live happily ever after.

I can’t believe it. The GOP representatives aren’t supposed to do what I do with the boorish spreading of lies and misinformation. The game plan is that I convince the dittohead ignotards about that stuff and then the GOP representatives reap the benefits by doing nothing other than obstructing action in congress.

Now there’s video of Rep. Eric Cantor, R-Va., the Minority Whip, on his BlackBerry during the speech, for instance.

When Obama addressed the charge that he plans “panels of bureaucrats with the power to kill off senior citizens,” someone on the GOP side shouted out “shame!” The president went on: “Such a charge would be laughable if it weren’t so cynical.” “Read the bill!” someone shouted back. Obama mentioned those who accuse him of a government takeover of health care. “It’s true,” someone shouted back …. Even as Obama delivered a tribute to the late senator Ted Kennedy, Rep. Tom Price (R-Ga), a leader of House conservatives, perused his BlackBerry. Shortly before the speech ended, Rep. Patrick McHenry (R-N.C.) walked out to beat the rush.

All of this is a gift to the White House. All of it will serve to reinforce the impression, which reform supporters have been working hard to create and spread, that Republicans have gone around the bend, that they’re more interested in attacking Obama than in reaching across the aisle to work on reform. And it makes Obama look calm, bipartisan and presidential. Screw it. I’m getting some Viagra and Oxycontin and heading back to D.R. for some youthful male companionship.

I knew a man Obama and he’d dance for you
    In worn out issues
With company takeovers, a ragged healtcare plan, and bailouts too
    The old soft shoe
He jumped so high, jumped so high
    Then he lightly touched down

I met him on the campaign trail I was
    down and out
He looked to me to be the eyes of communism
    as he spoke right out
He talked of life, talked of life, he laughed
    clicked his heels and stepped

He said his name “Obama” and he danced a lick
    across the country
I grabbed my pants and spread my cheeks,
Oh he jumped so high and then he clicked his heels
He let go a laugh, let go a laugh
and shook back his clothes all around

    Mr. Obama, Mr. Obama
    Mr. Obama, dance

He danced for those talk show hosts and network heads
    throughout the south
He spoke through tears of 60 years how his country and him
    traveled without
Healthcare up and died, it up and died
And after 60 years he still grieves

He said I dance now at every chance in honky tonks
    for drinks and tips
But most the time I spend behind these government health clinic lines
    ’cause I drinks a bit
He shook his head, and as he shook his head
I heard someone ask him please

    Mr. Obama, Mr. Obama
    Mr. Obama, dance..

Obama may not be lying but he’s certainly not telling the truth.
    Where was his plan?
How is he going to pay for it?
Why do we need any form of government healthcare if the public option is available?
Where are the necessary reforms to the current healthcare to reduce costs?
How much will this grand plan cost?
He takes ambiguous shots at Republicans.
He bashes the Bush Administration and blames them for all the current problems.
There is so much smoke and mirrors surrounding this guy that he wouldn’t recognize the truth if it bit him in the ass!

Let’s face it, Obama knocked it out of the
park, Republicans screwed up with Wilson comment,
so this deal is getting done. There is hope that
public option gets dropped though. Who knows
maybe it will work out the same way welfare did.
Oh wait, that created learned helplessness, and
devastaed a generation or two. Maybe it will
be like when the government built high rise
Section 8 housing, that worked pretty well.
Maybe it will be like when FNMA and FHLMC got
into subprime lending. Or maybe it will be like
TARP. Let’s face it, the govrnment is really
good at runaway spending programs and getting
great results and accountability, so let’s just

Waiting for the 7:01. I’ll be glad when this week is over. I’ll be glad when this whole healthcare debate is over. It is very taxing. Not as taxing as it’s going to become but taxing nonetheless.
‘John Fisher’ must have been summoned to the White House yesterday for some sort of victory celebration. Maybe he was called in for special propaganda training as they shift tactics to close out this debacle of legislature. Maybe he was researching for links to websites supporting Barack. In any case it was nice without him yesterday. Feel free to take the rest of the week off ‘John Fisher’.
I heard from Orin Hatch that Joe Wilson went missing last night. Rumor has it that Barack had him banished to a Gulag in West Virginia. Poor Joe one breach and he’s gone. I can understand his frustration having to sit there quietly while Barack goes on and on about how wonderful healthcare is going to be. It’s no wonder more congressman didn’t blow a fuze. At least Joe got sent to a Gulag. During the Clinton regime he would have been killed like Vince Foster or the countless Whitewater victims.
Well we’ll see what happens from here. I think both sides are polarized on this issue. I don’t think that the speech had much impact either way. I think the American people are not willing to give up on the greatest healthcare system in the world for some hodgepodge of bureaucratic rationed healthcare. Game on!

There are very sick people who post here, unbalanced men who have extreame ideas, why is that? It’s a reflextion of Larry Kane, he is a C level journalist who attracts fringe people, most of whom don’t like Larry or his lame ideas. It’s a wonder that the Comcast network employs him. He has no following of normal people with reasonable ideas. You’d think that with a platform of a television show some fans would show up and talk inteligently, but they never do, its becasue no reasonable person cares what he says or thinks. Just nut jobs come here, to vent or to put others down for their ideas. This sight is like a solar eclipse, they tell you not to look at them directly, but the people who ignore that advice and look anyway are the ones who write here. I have looked at so many solar eclipses that I am partially blind.

Checking in from Home Depot. Watching a storm door installation class. Fascinating! Wish I needed on. I wouldn’t do it myself but I’d watch the carpenter install it. After all I am the first VP from Scranton. I’ve been called a tool but never used one.
As the summer ends and I put away my white belt and shoes I must make the most of my September at the Purple Parrott. I get drawn to the Parrott like a moth to flames or ‘John Fisher’ to the healthcare battle. I don’t know if it’s the Kamikazes or the male companionship. We’ll be celebrating tonight. We’ll be celebrating 3 weeks of network television without that old woman Barney Frank front and center.
God I love the weekends! They are shimming now. Got to go.

Maybe I should jump ship on this whole Ebony and Ivory thing. I do not feel that I’m getting the proper resect that the first VP from Scranton deserves. Sure I have 24 hour secret service protection and a government jet at my disposal but so does Pelosi. And they stuck me next to that wench for over an hour the other night during Barack’s speech. What’s up with that? Why couldn’t I sit next to the cool people like Michelle. Instead I have to exchange niceities with the SOH. Yuck.
If I leave the VP position to ‘pursue other opportunities’ do I get to keep my secret service people or will they get redeployed with my replacement? Who would Barack pick as my replacement? Rev Wright? Michael Jordan? William Ayers? Oprah Winfrey? Mayor Daley?

I’m a proud moron from Alaska, and I can’t believe it. The GOP representatives aren’t supposed to do what our idiotard followers do and act poorly and bring guns to presidential events and shout down people who are trying to talk about issues. I know I started all this by making inflammatory commments, saying that Obama isn’t a real ‘Merican and that he pals around with terrorists. I realize now that we are supposed to follow pundits on Fox News who handle the boorish spreading of lies and misinformation. The game plan is that Limbaugh and his buddies convince the dittohead ignotards about that stuff and then the GOP representatives reap the benefits by doing nothing other than obstructing action in congress. Limbaugh and his buddies are also supposed to hammer on the fact that Obama is a non-white whose name sounds like some kind of jihad-bent Islamofascist threat and socialist communist Nazi totalitarian peacenik. So I resigned to take care of my tard kid — he’s a GREAT REPUBLICAN.

When Obama addressed my charge that he plans “panels of bureaucrats with the power to kill off senior citizens,” someone on our side shouted out “shame!” like a rabid teabagger. The president went on: “Such a charge would be laughable if it weren’t so cynical.” “Read the bill!” another petulant GOP brat shouted back. Obama mentioned those who accuse him of a government takeover of health care. “It’s true,” someone shouted back. We behaved like the uninformed ignotards we send to town halls and teabag parties. I know because I’ve been teabagged quite a bit in my day.

All of this is a gift to the White House. All of it will serve to reinforce the impression, which reform supporters have been working hard to create and spread, that we Republicans have gone around the bend, that we’re extremists more interested in attacking Obama than in reaching across the aisle to work on reform. It’s true. And it makes Obama look calm, bipartisan and presidential. And GOP all-stars like me? We look like drunk Eskimos at a whale flensing ceremony, surrounded by a bunch of screaming ignotards in the frozen wildnerness of beauty and Denali the great one.

My Church of the Masterbatory Casino runs all kinds of illegal gambling and its very profitable for us.

However, my church corruption does not not even comapare to what ACORN does. It took two 20-somthings with a hidden camera to blow the top off of this criminal organization. ACORN is about using race to get ransom from other organizations to fund its illegal pusuits and internal corruption and graft. Why did John Conyers say the “powers that be” dont want further investiongation when it became obvious that it was corrupt. It’s because its directly linked to Obama and get this bloggers, listen up now, this ACORN scandal could be Obama’s Watergate. You heard it here first. What these kids did was just expose the tip of the iceberg and revealed what the mainstream press would never have done. There will be so much overwhelming evidence against this organization blackmailing, race hustling, scaming, tax evading that it will have to be fully investigated. The money trail will lead to the white House, and other significant black politicans. If you look at what Charlie Rangel has been getting away with as a sitting government official and then ask what has ACORN been up to without any checks or balances, it is going to be staggering. Can you beleive the government was going to use these liars for the 2010 census?

Ed, I know you think Abott is the smartest guy on this blog, and I think he’s pretty smart too. But I get the feeling you kind of like Abott, you know in a discretly gay kind of way. Jimmy doesn’t swing that way, but you should “explore it” with Abott.

This “Fisher Guy” supports ACORN, in spite of your rantings ‘n’ rage!!!=:) No matter how many “ACTORS” try to bring down the organization, they will not succeed. Just as the Catholic Church ‘n’ rabbinical folk, which are composed of a goodly number of pedaphiles, survive, so will it be with ACORN. No element of society (individual or union)is void of malcreants. ACORN likely has some who are not 100% kosher but, with all respect, I’m sure it has fewer wrongdooers than predjudiced right wingers project/contrive. (MTJAO) Certainly, compared to the REPUBLICAN PARTY, ACORN would qualify for sainthood!!!=:) (mnsvho)

You say – “There will be so much overwhelming evidence against this organization blackmailing, race hustling, scaming, tax evading that it will have to be fully investigated.”

I say, “do the same for the Republican Party. While at it, bring the whole Bush/Cheney/Rice team to task for their LIES and war crimes against humanity.”

As that team LIED, so it continues with the Rush’s, Hannity’s, and whole court of twistologists who are so fearful of TRUTH that their only defense is a massive output of a constant stream of LIES!!!

Today marks a new low on the Philadelphia sports scene. A convicted dog abuser will grace the sidelines of the once proud Philadelphia Eagles. This is not a desperate team in search of a QB. Donovan McNabb fills that position quite nicely. This is not a team desperate to sell tickets. This is a playoff caliber team that has no need or reason to allow this low life to wear the once proud Eagle green. But today I will be on the sideline. I will not play but I will represent the City of Philadelphia. It is truly a proud day for all of us. Not since wife beater Brett Myers was able to rejoin the Phils has this city enjoyed such a glorious day. John Fisher thank you for your support. You are a true gentleman.

If drafted, I will not run; if nominated, I will not accept; if elected, I will not serve.
I have a very serious job to do as Secretary of State. I have to fly all over God’s green earth trying to fix problems created by my President. I’m doing twice the work I would have had to do if I was elected President like I should have been in the first place. What’s wrong with you people?

Leo also told us a lot when he said he was forbidden to use the internet at work. He either does not have much of a job if they can take away the internet, and/or he was misusing the internet at work. You and Leo have a lot in common though, except Leo is a bit smarter. He would enjoy reading Saturday’s WSJ article comparing Darwinism to Intelligent Design, but he probably doesnt read that paper or is not allowed to read it. Don’t bother looking at the article Fisher, its written at a 10th grade reading comprehension level, so you’d find it confusing and they dont use any clever emoticons to help you understand the message.

Sure!!-:) I support Vick to the extent he has served time for having engaged in a sport which he was indoctrinated to BELIEVE that it was OK!! He has seen the error of his way and is now moving ahead.

I wouldn’t want to diminish the importance of being considerate of animals. When I was able, I always had pets which were like members of the family. I loved them, cared for them, and (in every case) mourned their passing. SO, my mind is set. There are those who would condemn our Honorable President for having killed a fly while millions of people watched that act!!! Others scream bloody murder over the fur market and the killing of chickens, cows, etc. That’s their mind set. It is just not significant enough to have laws passed which would stop the practice of a meat eating public.

Now, what disturbs me more is that murderers, like those of the Bush/Cheney/Rice administration go unpunished and that many defend the actions of those who have murdered, or are responsible for the murder of other human beings!!! They condemn those who kill animals, and prosecute them, yet defend (without trial) those who murder humans!!! Go fig’re!!!

I congratulate Eagles management for its compassion and understanding that many criminals deserve a second chance. Politicians, religious leaders, or those who become religious leaders (after the fact) are not the only ones who should be given a second chance!!! I yearn for the good old days when Larry would respond to the likes of a jack russel or even Leo Bloom. Lary has deserted this sinking ship like the rats that infest a boarded up home in North Philly split the scene after hearing a barrage of gun shots outside their abode.

BTW, I’ve finally listened to Rush Limbaugh. I’ve had some time to tune him in since i lost my home. He is a complete fool. On 9/11/09 he smeared Obama for saying that 9/11 should be a day of “service”. I found nothing wrong with that considering the amount of cops and firemen who perished that day were perfoming a “service”. We’ve got to lighten up in this country or the Limbaughs and Becks along with the Pelosis and Reids will be the last people standing.

Ed, I can’t understand why you include Pelosi and Reid in the same breath as you use Limpbowels and Beck!!! Glad to see you, seemingly, support our Honorable President Obama!!!-:) At least you didn’t besmirch HIS character!! You even endorse his creation of a day of “service”!!! That’s nice!!!=:)

Fisher, nice to see you dont support murder, yet you have a carve out for the murder of unborn children, you are a hypocrite and a bit of a fool. Since you’re really old, do you go to bed before or just after Andy Rooney? And do you wear Depends all day, or just at bedtime? Nighty night, do let the bed bugs bite!

Ed, soryy to hear you’re homeless, let us know if we can help you in anyway. Larry is very generous, so he could post an address where we could send money, food, clothing, whatever you need and he would see that you get it.

John, don’t put words in my mouth, like the far left and far right do to their opponents. I merely said that I saw nothing wrong with Obama honoring the fallen on 9/11 with a day of “service”. Of course we will never forget the brutal act commited by the followers of a religion bent on wiping people like me off the face of the earth, but you really couldn’t tell that from Obama’s 9/11 speach. I’m not an Obama fan but i live in a country that will defend his right to say whatever he wants regardless of the Limbaughs and Becks.

I’m a proud judgmental adulterer from Christ, and I can’t believe it. The GOP representatives aren’t supposed to do what our idiotard religious followers do and act poorly and bring guns to presidential events and shout down people who are trying to talk about issues. I tell people he’s the Black Devil.

We behaved like the uninformed ignotards we send to town halls and teabag parties. I know because I’ve been teabagged quite a bit in my day. I pay good money for it.

We’re doing all we can for white hypocrites.

They deserve a place to live, they deserve food to eat, they deserve healthcare to survive, they deserve access to employment, they deserve all of this because……….? Why don’t they limit their reproductive capacity an try to make a living on their own? Does the government have to pay people to on having children? Can’t the government keep illegal imigrants out of this country? Can’t the government help those who really need a hand up in this time of crisis who have paid into the system for years and years? Guess what the answer to that question is………

I’ve tried to post a response to your #152 about 10 times. It has not yet come up, even though, on a couple of occasions that I’m making a repeat, still nothing shows up!! Perhaps it’s too long, so I’ll attempt to send it in 2 messages.

Swaggert, I don’t consider semen a child!! I don’t consider a fetus anthing other than a parasite, similar to some of those who post to this forum – ESPECIALLY those who would deny a woman her RIGHT TO CHOOSE!!! RUBBERS SAVE LIVES!!!

What ever the hell you must respond to your God about, and no matter what your BELIEF, enjoy it. You’ll answer to YOUR GOD!!! Stay the out of things that don’t concern YOU. It’s just not your business. That you support organizations which need a cause, so that the funds for their miscreant activities do not dry up, is something for you to do as you become powerless to lord it over others who just don’t BELIEVE as you do!!!

Through the ages, when life begins has been a topic of debate by even, learned theologians . There are opposing views even by saints of the RC church. Augustine is one of them.

    More:

The current (former Nazi youth) pope skirted (re-interpreted) Canon Law, as does his newly appointed attorney general, expressing the view that it is sinful for Catholics who do not agree with the position (currently being taken by the church) are sinful creatures and that those who vote for them are also sinners. In any case, followers of religious degenerates. of any cult, are entitled to practice what their fruitcake ambassadors tell them.

Benedict used his view to influence the election of the most demonic president this nation has ever known when he admonished people in this country not to vote for a Democrat but to support the far right wing nuts of this country/

Here is the goal of the Vatican (and other fringe cults), and only one part of its goal for a change in the US Constitution: It should only happen to your children and their children:

Section 5. Medical procedures, which are absolutely necessary to save the life of a mother and which indirectly result in the death of a prenatal, shall be permitted by law only when all possible options for saving the life of the prenatal have been exhausted. If both the mother’s life and the prenatal’s life can be saved, both must be saved. If the prenatal’s life can be saved by no other possible option than by risking or allowing the death of the mother, then the prenatal’s life must be saved. (SURE!!! LEAVE 6, 7, 8 OR MORE CHILDREN MOTHERLESS BECAUSE OF SUCH INSANITY!!)

Changing our entire health care system is a mighty big enterprise for a guy that used to work as a comunity advisor to the poor and disenfranchised. His compassion for that segment of society helped get him his job. If we ever needed a panal that could provide a reason why these people even needed to get health care then Obama is our man. If a certain person had no job, smoked and drank and put some of that white stuff up his nose and had a criminal record the size of Michelle Obama’s Princton thesis, then had a health care issue, the panal would recomend that this person should be given some counsuling and put back on the street. Back to the healthcare debate today. I think my Democratic brethren have finally realized that they can pass healthcare and still get reelected in 2010. They were shying away from it during the town meeting phase but now they are ready to get something done. The pressure is on the GOP now to keep the focus on the flaws in the plan and the public option. Evidentually they’ll lose their focus and we’ll sneak this through in the middle of the night with some environmental legislature. It is inevitable. We shall overcome. Too bad. I liked going to Dr Johnson. He understood my peculiar problems. Now I’ll have to reset everytime I go into the clinic. Well at least the unemployed, the unwilling to pay for healthcare and illegal aliens will be covered. That makes it all better.

Remember, now, endorse the right of women to have their choice when it comes to aborting parasites. You know, those parasites which can harm them, jeopardize their lives, or are the result of sex where condums and the pill bring about unexpected/unwanted results.

In any case, THANKS for your support. Your idiotic responses show the flaws in your character. Of course, that’s what helps to promote the causes I support.

    THANK YOU, again!!!=:) ROFLMAO

No Fisher, I thank you, the more you say
the more we know about you and your mental
    illness.

Did ACORN help you get your houses? You know
they don’t care if you use them to house
underage children for prostitution, heck, they’d let you perform
abortions with coat hangers and will show you
how to evade taxes on your earnings. You are
a sick man, and it just goes to show that
the eledery can be very dangerous people. As
point out you’ve enjoyed so much even before
I was born, which means your time in this
wonderful world is winding down. Since your
not the type to repent, I hope your suffering
in death equals the pain felt by just one
mutilated fetus, as you’re not man enough to endure
the pain of more than one.

Where ignotance is bliss, ’tis folly to be wise!!!-:)

Having said that, abbot, your imagination, and lack of civility, point to a mental condition which only you can repair. Seeking professional help should be sought to help you along the way,

BTW, the current efforts to discredit ACORN don’t seem to be going very far. It sounded fishy, to me, from the first report!! The Republican ACTORS APPEAR TO HAVE COMMITTED A NUMBER OF FELONIES. Once that was revealed, it sure did quiet the propagandists who were promoting what they tried to pass off as heroic. Tricky Dickers from Nixon to Bush II have had LIES AS THEIR ONLY WEAPON IN THEIR FIGHT TO CONTROL the masses.

As for longevity, abott, I’ve met many jackasses in my day!!! Many of them scoffed the elderly as they boasted how much more time they had left and how much more healthy they were!! Many of them lasted only days, after such bragging. Some lasted only a few years. You never know when your time has come. It could be tomorrow.

Be careful what you wish on others. It could be that that is what fate has in store for you.

Make a good act of contrition just in case. For some, I don’t think even a perfect act of contrition will work but you can try.

I am Hal9000 the propaganda machine.
From a small ACORN a giant conspiracy has grown.
ACORN was the brainchild of the radical left.
ACORN registered people that had no interest in the election.
    ACORN paid people to vote.
ACORN registered dead people and paid other people to vote for them.
ACORN is responsible for millions of fraudulant votes.
ACORN beat the archaic and outmoded voting system that existed in 2008.
ACORN workers out worked and out cheated their GOP counterparts.
Without ACORN and the millions of resulting fraudulant votes Obama would not have been elected.
It makes me proud to be a liberal.

Waiting for the 7:01. Busy day in DC.
Personally I’m sickened by the whole Acorn thing. Sure I wanted to get elected. Sure I wanted the Republicans out of the White House. Sure I think that we have better ideas. Sure I think we are smarter and better leaders than our Republican predecessors. Sure I think that we are political elitest destine to govern. It’s just that the election will always be tainted by the sleazy tactics of fraudulent voter registration. Much like Bush’s election in 2000. Oh well. We won that is the important thing. We’ll leave ethics to the Senate Ethics Committee and the Justice Department. Our 8 years will be up before they can rule on improprieties. Those guys can’t even get out of their own way. As ‘John Fisher’ adds the ends justify the means.

    1) Too busy with his novel to worry about this stupid website
    2) Has writer’s block and can not come up with another thought provoking topic.
    3) Vacationing on the Riviera for the month.
    4) Facedown in a bowl of Fritos in front of his TV.
I suspect the latter. Jack Russell can you check in on Larry?

I have known the pain of mother’s, influienced by their religions, to bring unwanted victims into this world, making victims of both.

I have witnessed the pain of children when the life of a mother was ended in order to preserve the life of a newborn. I have witnessed the results of this kind of debauchery which has left as many as nine children orphans!!

As I’ve said before, abott, “you may not live past the day”!!! I’ve outlived people, with your kind of thinking, by more than half a century. You should be as lucky!!!=:)

ACORN will survive, in spite of your rants!!! It is an organization which has done a world of good. There is less corruption within that organization than exists within the Republican party!!! The hate mongers of the REPUBLICAN PARTY, which engages actors to besmirch the image of others by race baiting, hiding behind covers which they say is not a race based hatred. They really can’t deal with the fact that new shades of reality are maturing and showing promise of a GREATER TOMORROW FOR THE MASSES!!=:)

Again, the issue seems to have been quieted because SOME OF those who were
involved in the entrapment have committed felonies. Certainly, an investigation should take place to research the involvement of parties on both sides of the issue. I wonder, too, which others were paid, including actors planted in ACORN to pull this thing off!!! Cuts in the sound tracks and editing of scenes are great tools to bring about a desired results for the hate merchant wingers of the REPUBLICAN PARTY!! In the end, ACORN will come out on top!!!=:) mnsvho

Guess what? The Red Menace is on the run. The teabaggers, yours truly included, have put the fear of God in the swarthy Muslim socialists who took over Washington D.C. In fact, we have ended the reign of tyranny of one of the first communist institutions in the United States. Read for yourself, if you can. http://libwww.freelibrary.org/closing/

All hail the free market! Don’t dare to question its wisdom. Public sources of education are socialist traps. This country would have been a better place if there hadn’t been repositories of knowledge from which the common immigrant could acquire knowledge instead of being turned back to foreign shores, especially the swarthy ones.

Why did the Census cut off ACORN.
Why did Seante just overwhelmingly vote
To cut off ACORN? They are a corrupt

Rosh Hashanah is coming up, abott!! Be sure to anyalyze your hatred and that it is not misplaced!!=:) Confess, at least the potential of your misgivings!!

Decisions were made, in haste, by politicians, and can be reversed. As I’ve indicated before, the Republican party is more corrupt than any other body of degenerates. There is no excuse for the behavior DISPLAYED by Republican operatives. They had to go thru many states before they found some whom they thought they could use for purposes of propagands.

The whole affair still sounds mighty fishy to me. I’m content to let the cards fall where they may. In the meantime, I’ll not be influenced by some ACTORS and CORRUPT REPUBLICANS who are far more damnable than ACORN could ever be. ’tain’t over, abott, so keep changing your shorts while you await the final outcome. I’m quite sure that ACORN, as an organization, will be exonerated. I can’t say the same for the REPUBLICAN PARTY, resorting to entrapment, because it is corrupt beyond repair. mnsvho

BTW, look forward to the prosecution of the actors, and perhaps others, involved in this scheme. Could be they are not the only participants in this travesty.

Attack Videographer Caught in Manipulation and Lies

(San Bernardino, CA) –Today the videographer James O’Keefe’s hidden camera “interview” with San Bernardino ACORN organizer Tresa Kaelke, airing repeatedly on Fox “News”, including the Glenn Beck show, and on BigGovernment.com, has been caught out
in an obvious set of lies and manipulations. When the actors approached Ms. Kaelke with their provocative costuming and outlandish
scenario, she could not take them seriously. So she met their outrageousness with her own personal style of outrageousness. She matched their false scenario with her own false
    scenarios.

“They were not believable”, said Ms. Kaelke of the two actors. “Somewhat entertaining, but they weren’t even good actors. I didn’t know what to make of them. They were clearly playing with me. I decided to shock them as much as they were shocking me. Like Stephen Colbert does – saying the most outrageous things with a straight face.” While her sense of
humor might not be funny to many people, the fact is that she spun false scenario after false scenario and the videographer ate them up.

For example, in response to the set-up by the filmmakers in which they say they are trying get the young woman away from her abusive pimp, she responds that she was abused by her former husband as well (true) and that she shot and killed him (false). He is very much alive and living near Barstow, CA. However, this is taken as the gospel truth, not just in the film itself, but also by several
“news” personalities, indicating that no journalistic standards were applied to making the video or vetting it for broadcast.

Further, as the actors repeatedly noted how nice she was being, Ms Kaelke responded, also repeatedly, that her “niceness” was just her, not ACORN. “My supervisor would shoot this
down like faster than a bat out of hell.”
When the actors talked about bringing 12-13 year olds in from another country, supposedly because they needed a lot of money fast for a political campaign, Ms. Kaelke said, “You are going to need it for a lawyer!”

These exchanges, which do not appear in the edited film put on BigGovernment.com, call into question the journalistic standards of the film and of any purported news organization
    that chooses to run them.

Ms. Kaelke, who did not know she was being filmed, is appalled that her defensive attempts to deal with a troubling experience have been manipulated into an attack on her work
helping low- and moderate-income families fight the foreclosure crisis, work for needed health care reform, and face the economic crisis in San Bernardino. www,acorn.com

“On September 15 and 16, Fox News devoted significant programming to conservative filmmaker James O’Keefe and TownHall.com columnist Hannah Giles’ video of their interactions with an ACORN worker, who claimed she murdered her husband and gave advice on how to run a brothel, but stated after the video was released that she had merely been attempting to “shock them as much as they were shocking me.” In running with the video, Fox News hosts frequently promoted the fake claim that the ACORN employee killed her husband without fact checking the allegation or indicating that they had contacted ACORN for a response.” media matters
