Larry Kane is in Ventnor with all his friends this Memorial weekend. He has writers block, so dont expect too much from him, and don’t mention that in here, because it gives him even greater performance anxiety. He’s angry about resturant prices “down the shore”, they charge new york prices for crap, so a lot of times he’ll just order a Sacco Subs hoagie or chesse steak, then spend the rest of the night talking about how good it was and wondering out loud where do they get those rolls? Mrs Kane will finally ask him to shut up about it and tells him next time in Ventnor they’re going to the nice resturants her friends go to no matter what the cost.

Larry’s new favorite show is John & Kate plus Eight. He is rushing back from the shore right now to see the season premeire tonight. He’s fascinated by the voyeristic aspects of reality television and enjoys wathing their marriage fall apart, not thats there’s anything wrong with that, most of america will be watching their train wreck in order to feel better about themselves. It’s called Shadenfreude, Larry takes particular delight in it with regard to politics and other newscasters, but we all engauge in it to some degree. For Larry, schadenfreude is an artform, anyone who reads what he writes will see what Kim means. I crazy, but I know what I talk about- this schadenfreude!
