My suggestion is that if others are in agreement, we post the silly stuff here to try to hit 200 posts, its the least we can do for larry. And if people are still reading this post it means Larry is getting traction on the internet, and if smart people post it will become more successful. The question is, does larry want to take his site up a notch and bring in more traffic? If he has traffic he can sell advertising and cross promtion, so far he seems comfortable with status quo. If i owned this site, i'd say its time to take it up a notch and talk to some of his old friends in NYC to figure out how to do that. Larry has a brand and idenity in Philadelphia that could be taken way up a notch since people dont read newspaers anymore. On a shoe string he could create a site called the "the Big Story in Philadelphia" and have news and contributors that people would go to the way they go to Philly.com. There is a huge working class following that really know and trusts Larry, plus if he get's hotties like Erin O'hern to be contributors to tell lindsey lohan wanabes where to go to party he could get a hot go to phiadelphia site. If larry just wants to retire, well then this is silly talk. Larry,think about it there's an opportunity for you to change up the game, and drop the beetles crap and redefine your brand and currenty in philadelphia. the theme being you are the godfather of news, but you have a lot of young hip connections who talk to diverse people like 20 something party girls and smart black guys like markanthony. That's the difference between him and Ridge. Romney explained what changed and why he had them buried after a proper funeral. Ridge felt he didnt need to explain the jar, stonewalled questions about the jar, then one day it dissapeared from his desk and he denied it was ever there and refused further question, often pretending he couldn't hear because of his ear problem, so reporters just stopped asking about the jar.
