Larry, JR has not become a blog star as you suggest. Rather, he has become a target for abuse with his shameless support of HRC and tireless bashing of all other candidates. Perhaps he should change his moniker to ‘Jack Daniels’ after post-primary exuberances the other night… or visit a chapter of AA.

You have no reason to apologize to folks like “Fred” who have never served their country and don’t appreciate those that have. The vast majority of people in this country truly recognize and appreciate the service of our soldiers and veterans. Truth be told, “Fred” should be apologizing to you.

Fred’s bark is more like an annoyin toy poodle than any terrier! I am not out to toot my own horn – I am proud of my service to my country and I am blessed that I can continue to contribute in a positive way to the Global War on Terror.

I have never belittled Larry Kane – I am a huge fan and have been since his early days on Action News – hower, there is a host of local yokels out there in the blogosphere taking cheap shots at Mr. Kane – so lean on them about that. I have nothing but respect for Larry for providing this vehicle for people to sound-off with (even IF they do not have a clue). THAT’S what makes this country great!

Oh, by the way, I am very good at what I do. I have the respect of my Company and my Miitary Customer. I have a lifetime of serice to the United States of America that I am very proud of. I expect that I will continue make a positive contribution so that blowhards like some on this blog do not have to.

And, agree or not, I do appreciate all the input from you liberals, conservatives, moderates, blue collar , white collar, black and white and hispanic writers.

Y’know, Yankee Air Pirate, it is kinda comical to me to read the nonsensical discourse that occurs on this blog – mostly by people so ‘lost’ in teir little world, with no clue about what actually happens outside of the United States, let alone the five-county area. Fortunately for me, I ‘escaped’ when I was 17 years old and have lived a woderful life in many parts of the world (thanks to 20-year career in the Army), including my current stint in Afghanistan (as a contractor for the Department of Defense)!
