Obama – Clinton. Watch Out! If You Think This Is Tough……
The campaigns of Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton in Pennsylvania are heading toward a disastrous and nasty finish in this battle. Clinton attacked Obama for describing some Pa. residents, especially small town Pennsylvanians, as “bitter” about the loss of jobs. Obama struck back, saying his choice of words may have been a problem, but that some voters are disturbed about Washington’s lack of empathy.
The Obama campaign is sending reprints of the Washington Post correspondents piece giving Bill Clinton “THREE PINNOCHIOS” (like movie ratings), for his defense of Clinton’s Bosnia gaffe. The Clinton campaign is posting videos of Obama’s “bitter” speech all over the web. The Obama campaign has issued a blistering attack against Clinton’s attack. The Clinton team has launched two negative ads against Obama.
So much for Democratic Party unity.
The last time I can remember something this bad was the Jimmy Carter, Ted Kennedy battle for the nomination in 1980. Carter won the nomination. Kennedy never gave up. Ronald Reagan won the Presidency.
All of this comes with 9 days left till the Pennsylvania Primary, a must win for Clinton, a challenge for Obama, and the scene of the most political bloodletting yet in this campaign.
I marvel at the war room environment of this campaign. I wonder if it is already too late to heal the Democratic Party. But then, I have other thoughts – that the Democratic battle has energized a lot of Independents and NEW Democrats.
Right now I am an analyst with a split view of this Democratic dilemma. As many of you know, I speak to party insiders on a regular basis.
One thing I know: The Republicans in Pennsylvania, under-financed and neglected in the press, are starting to feel good again, about November.
A second point. Truly, the bitterness between Obama and Clinton is very real. The party may eventually be united, but don’t look for Barack and Hillary to have real peace between them for a long, long time.
Comments(68)

Obama is right on. I do feel anxious and bitter about all the problems with the Bush administration, jobs losses, on and on. If Clintion thinks I should not be bitter, she is wrong. Sticking to faith and family is a good thing, Obama did not say that’s a bad thing. Things have been depressing, the way the country’s going. Clinton should join Obama in saying, of course poeple are bitter and not happy. We will be happy when either Democrat is elected. Please everyone unite, don’t fight or attack either Dem candidate.
hello Larry,
the barry obama comment attacking small town penna taxpayers as bitter people is a big problem that will show up on april 22,
Hillary Clinton will never attack small town American taxpayers and i don’t blame her for calling barry on the carpet,
Hillary will not put down the small town american taxpayers but roll her sleeves up and help them get back up,
barry obama has no problem attacking small town america’s religion but plays rope a dope when asked about his ‘christian religion’ this barry obama is phony as a $3 dollar bill!
Jack Russell, welcome back. I thought you were leaving Larry’s blog forever.
You’ve got one thing right: “barry obama is as phony as $3 bill” clinton. Just not to the same extreme. 3$Bill has a lifetime membership as a complete phony. “barry” is just learning.
I think it’s laughable that you excuse Hillary’s blatant lying about sniper fire in Bosnia but jump all over “barry” for misspeaking about small town Pennsylvanians. You are as laughable as Fast Eddie was on CNN last night.
Larry, welcome back and thank you for playing. We thought you had left the reservation. Speaking of leaving the reservation, look who else is back…
OOOJ, good points! Former First Phony is 3$Bill.
SJ, GWB is not responsible for job losses. Corporate America is. Besides, neither Democrat has an answer to jobs or any of our other problems. They just rely on pandering and trying to say what you want to hear. Creating the illusion. Smoke and mirrors. They are both so afraid of losing your vote that they are afraid to say anything substantive. Other than cutting and running in Iraq, what are they really proposing?
Larry, what do you think about Bill’s comment that people tend to forget things when they’re 60 and it’s 11 p.m. and they’re tired. What does this say about Hillary’s ability to answer the phone at 3 a.m.?
Jack Russell, how was Obama’s comment in any way an “attack”? He was merely describing a mindset that many people share who have become disillusioned with Washington D.C. because of people like Bill Clinton, who helped widen the gulf between rich and poor, losing good manufacturing jobs and replacing them with millions of McJobs. Hillary is simply making her last ditch attempt to invoke the prejudices of the uneducated crowd that compose her base by misrepresenting Obama’s comment and taking it out of context. She is awful.
Sweetie, be careful. Larry may be sensitive to your comments. He fits that general description and he’s blogging at 11PM.
All I can say is finally Larry is right, if these two idiot democraps keep going at each other the way they are, there will be no real unity come Novemeber, and a great American Hero named McCain will be president. JR, you really need to get of the 3$ Bill and Hillbillary bandwagon already, that ship has sailed and they just can’t stop lying. As far as B Hussien Obama goes, just another stuffed shirt that tells people what they want to hear with no real substantive policies, but then how could he have policies when he has been absent from so many votes and has not finished at least one term as a senator before running for another job on the taxpayers dime.
LK, the best thing that happened with the 80′s democrap mess was that we finally got a real leader in “Ronald Wilson Reagan”, no more snivelling little Carter wimp and definitely not the idiot from Masschusetts, who should have been jailed in ’69.
Larry,
barry obama the ‘great speaker’ seems to have to tell people he said one thing and meant another quite often,i think barry obama and michelle are bitter people, but leo and the obamanites will do what they do best attack The Clintons ‘out of context’ of course to justify it.
the obamanites attacks on President Clinton is simply UNpatriotic.
and mike I will ride the Clinton bandwagon to the bitter end,and if Mccain beats Hillary in Nov.then that’s politics, but i would not bet on it,there’s no doubt that Mccain is a war hero.
and rick you seem like a very nice person but you keep making excuses for -you know who.
Hillary Clinton says her economic policies will restore the economic policies of her husband’s administration. However both Hillary and her husband failed to demonstrate any economic wisdom or foresight as Alan Greenspan warned of irrational exuberance while the sub prime housing loans and dot com investment bubbles were created and pandered during her husband’s administration and both supported China’s entry into the World Trade Organization without any conditions such as protecting the environment or labor and property rights to levels that are comparable to western standards.
The U.S. government surplus (generated by taxes raised from the housing and investment bubbles) evaporated once the housing and investment bubbles burst.
Furthermore, China today is not only a leading contributor to environmental pollution and global warming (thank you very much Mr. Nobel Laureate, Al Gore), it’s also pushing up oil and other commodity prices, taking our jobs and stealing our intellectual property.
Like the Roaring Twenties decade that preceded the Great Depression, the Irrational Nineties that preceded our current decade were both golden ages for technology, scandal-plagued politicians, corporate greed, and unrestrained personal debt and speculation.
As the global economy teeters on the brink of economic meltdown not unlike the Great Depression, America doesn’t need finger pointing and fear mongering, America needs a president whose economic policies are based on confidence, unity and reason. America needs Barack Obama.
When political and military judgment mattered most to U.S. military personnel and the American people, John McCain and Hillary Clinton failed as U.S. Senators to demonstrate any commander-in-chief qualities when without competent questioning, they both accepted the faulty intelligence used to justify the Iraq war and misjudged the Bush administration’s competencies to lead the war.
Barack Obama on the other hand demonstrated his superior judgment and commander-in-chief qualities when he took an unpopular position and cautioned that without clear rationale an invasion of Iraq would encourage the worst impulses of the Arab world and strengthen Al Qaeda’s recruitment.
Now, John McCain advocates maintaining U.S. troops in Iraq indefinitely which does little to incentivize the Iraqi government to deliver the political reforms needed to promote civil unity whereas Barack Obama’s threat to withdraw U.S. troops does more to incentivize the Iraqi government to deliver the necessary reforms.
As the threat of global terrorism persists, neither John McCain or Hillary Clinton have demonstrated any understanding of the complexities of building and maintaining global alliances to confront this common enemy. America needs a president with demonstrated commander in chief qualities, leadership and judgment. America needs Barack Obama.
If experience, wisdom and judgment may be relied upon to judge a presidential candidate’s abilities to solve problems, then let’s look at the records of Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton.
2007 – While Barack Obama promoted a restoration of balance between work and wealth and criticized special interests for distorting U.S. tax codes, Hillary Clinton and her husband liquidated their blind trust of the nearly $50 million amassed during their years in public office.
2002 – While Barack cautioned that without clear rationale an invasion of Iraq would encourage the worst impulses of the Arab world and strengthen the recruitment arm of Al Qaeda, Hillary told Larry King she didn’t regret her vote on the Iraq war resolution because like the Bush administration, the Clinton administration viewed Saddam Hussein as a threat to the international community.
1999 – While Barack secured bipartisan support for health-care reform and passage of low-income tax credits and child care subsidies in the Illinois legislature, Hillary supported her husband’s Iraq “regime change” policy in order to divert public attention from the president’s marital, legal and ethical infidelities.
1989 – While Barack Obama served as the Harvard Law Review’s first black president, Hillary Clinton then wife of the Arkansas governor received payments from a law firm that was doing the state’s business and received board of director payments from Wal-Mart where she remained silent about Wal-Mart’s anti-labor union practices.
1979 – While Barack Obama was actively involved in the South African divestment movement to end apartheid, Hillary reaped profits of almost 10,000% in the futures markets and left taxpayers with her real-estate losses in the Savings & Loan bailout.
The Clintons would have us believe that Hillary and Bill have been thoroughly vetted. If that were true, then why don’t we have answers for:
FOREIGN: How will Hillary know whether Bill’s advice serves U.S. interests or the interests of his Russian, Chinese, Indian, Kazakhstan, Dubai, Qatar, Kuwait, Oman or Brunei clients?
MONEY: Do the Clinton Foundation, Clinton Library, Clinton campaign and Clintons tax records show a proper accounting for the sources and uses of funds?
PARDONS: Will Hillary “reject” contributions or compensation from persons she pardons unlike her husband Bill who accepted contributions from Marc Rich, partner of Viktor Bout (the merchant of death), and her brother Hugh Rodham who accepted compensation from drug lords who were pardoned by Bill?
For too long fear, division and rancor have been used as instruments to maintain power and position in Washington.
Why are the Clintons’ traditional adversaries Rush Limbaugh and Sean Hannity now embracing Hillary Clinton as the Democratic Party’s nominee? Because both the Clintons and John McCain are willing sparring partners in the fear mongering arena, whereas Barack Obama’s means of governing through confidence, unity and reason threatens the wealth, power and position of these fear mongers.
It’s refreshingly nice to see the better angels of America’s character prevailing as voters reject the racial, religious and ethnic slurs being spewed by the divisive surrogates of the Clintons, Limbaugh and Hannity.
Voters in Pennsylvania now have an opportunity to change the direction of America’s policies, economy and foreign relations for the better by voting for Barack Obama and rejecting the fear mongers.
As a Republican-leaning independent, I will vote for the Democratic nominee if it is Barack Obama but I will not vote for the Party’s nominee if Hillary Clinton is on the ticket. America needs Barack Obama.
I’ve heard of bitter lime and bitter lemon but bitter people in the small towns of PA…. That makes me so mad that after church today I’m going to get my gun and go to the local WalMart (where everyone works) and start shooting all those people I have antipathy towards. On second thought maybe I should go to Washington.
larry,I am sure that this time the democratic party will not be united come november.I am a supporter of Hillary and I will not under any circumstances vote for obama,I will vote for mccain, the republican, which I have never done in over 50 years of voting.
Thge democrates still think that endorsements matter, they still think that we will do as the party says,it’s not that way anymore.People are more intelligent, they read more, they have the news media which I am sure trys to influnce people to vote for their candidate, the people will decide for themselves.
As for me ,I am finished with the party.
If Hillary is not the nominee,I can not
go on supporting a party that has taken leave of its senses.
If you read and listen to Obama’s comments they are being distorted as usual by the desperate Clinton campaign. Obama wasn’t attacking anyone but the anti Obama group will grab onto this and churn it predictably. On the other hand there are voters out there who agree with the use of the word “bitter” that everyone is getting all nutty about.
http://www.bittervoters.org here’s an example of one commenter.
“Bitter is not a strong enough word to express my disgust with the government over the last 20 years. The real elitists are the two far richer candidates trying to claim that we are hopeful, happy people who can survive anything so no need to do anything for them. Well we HAVE survived, but barely in many cases. While I’m struggling just to feed my child, Clinton is wearing a different expensive “pant-suit” every day she’s not dodging imaginary sniper fire. No amount of her drinking in local bars, nodding and clapping for herself is going to convince me she has any clue what my life is like. She works because she wants to, and while that may be worth offering some credit for, many two income families work all day every day and still barely get by. Her attacking Obama on this and playing down how bad things have gotten for so many of us offended me so much I immediately gave his campaign a donation. Yes, Hillary, we are bitter and your not recognizing that is not a reflection of our character, but a cry for someone, anyone to hear us and fight for our needs shows how out of touch YOU are!”
Instead of taking the blame for losing in Pennsylvania, Obama blames the blue collar workers by calling them unemployed, bitter, gun toting bigots. He may as well have called them backwoods hicks. This probably would have gone over just as well with the group he was addressing in California.
It amazes me after all that Republicans (and right wing Democrats) have done to destroy America, our liberties, our economy, our morality…that anyone would even consider being or voting Republican…they have brainwashed all their followers with this “tax and spend liberal” thing when they “tax and steal” at least the liberals spend the taxes on us, we get it back in a sense, the Republicans take the money and run…and they take a lot more, unless you’re filthy rich. What happened to WE THE PEOPLE have we been working so hard we can’t keep up??? It’s time we take the time before it’s too late, and we’re getting very close to too late.
By the way Obama is right, this is why I like Obama he talks to us straight, tells us the truth we don’t want to hear, treats us like adults for once, poor unemployed people who vote for war, who vote Republican are either really stupid or bitter and want to see the whole world suffer like them…its one or the other, look inside yourselves you know its the truth. The only people who have any legitimate reason to vote Republican are the super rich who want to scam you even more, I can understand why they vote Republican all 1% of them as for the other 99% why half vote Republican I’ll never get it??? When I say Republican I include right wing Democrats in their number, people like Lieberman and Clinton, maybe not Hillary but certainly Bill.
birdflewover(thecoocoo’snest) it’s left wingers like yourself that are ruining this country. Always with your hand out and penchant to blame others for your own misfortunes.
Birdman, you could not be more wrong. What liberities have you lost recently? Anyone with a job, a clue or a brain votes Republican. If you want to give your money away, give it to charities, not the government to piss away.
Birdflewover-Must be the lack of oxygen.Come down to about 7,ooo feet & contact tower.Shamokin Joe,say hello to Zip & Kathleen.
Republicans are the party to vote for, I didn’t hear one of you left-leaning Obama nuts, how much more of an elitist, reverse racism attitude do you need from this stuffed suit who is more suited to be a preacher like his “MENTOR” JEREMIAH “THE AMERICAN HATING” “WHITE HATING” Blue collar hating BIGOT! Obama is just as bad if not worse than Hillbillary and 3$ Bill.
I can think of no bigger show of lack of judgement than sitting and listening to the “Mentor” for 20 + years and supposedly not knowing he is a racist bigot, and an “UNAMERICAN” “AMERICAN HATING IGNORANT MORON”, you can vote for this idiot if you want, but I’ll tell you now, if you think the primary is rough on Barack “Hussein” Obama, (note he doesn’t use middle name, and his unpatriotic wife, wait till the Republicans get a hold of his far-left leaning nut case votes in the senate, that is if he was there to vote….. He will have his butt handed to him in a heartbeat and McCain will win by a landslide.
I think you crazy Obama supporters need to come up for a reason why this idiot is always offending someone and has to “Clarify” his statements…. He is worse the two-bit Ted and the rest of the Kennedy clan who couldn’t even hold a candle to JFK or RFK, and to compare this idiot to either of them is a travesty at best.
So, John Pat Smith, Angela and Birdflewover, (though I think you are stuck in cuckoo’s nest), get a grip and spew your liberal left leaning crap to someone who actually cares about your “Socialist” candidate!!!!!!!!!!!
Say Hallelujah YAP and Mike. Birdboy, you are crazier than me!
obama SHOULD step down, he is DIVIDING our country and our party. He is talking about working class people in PA and midwest towns when he is in front of the rich, then in front of us in the midwest, he is talking about “the rich white man”, and you know what he has been saying in Rev. Wrights church, I guarantee you he is not keeping his mouth shut at his anti-white church.
He started dividing our country 20 years ago by giving Rev. Wright donations on a regular basis.
I see that the good Rev. is still playing an ACTIVE roll in the church… why is obama still going to keep sending them his money for tithe?
And the replacement pastor has said that he is going to carry on with the same as Rev. Wright?
Does this send any red flags to ANYONE??? American people are NOT going to vote for an ANTI AMERICAN, ANTI WHITE, ANTI ITALIAN, ANTI JEW President!! Especially over McCain. Hillary has got the best chance to beat McCain.
Birdflewover – soccer mom, tree hugger.
STM, you Clintonistas have to accept the fact that as much as you don’t like it, you are done. A man of color is going to get the nomination. All the bickering, race cards and fear mongering can not change the numbers. Obama is not dividing party; Hillary is. She should have dropped out a month ago and let Obama have his run. Don’t blame BHO for the division. Say Hallelujah!
Good Ole “Boy” Jeremiah Wright at it again!!!! See Below!!!!!!!!
Rev. Jeremiah Wright told a congregation in Norfolk, Va., on Sunday that reporters sneaked into a private funeral service a day before, in which he blasted America’s founding fathers for slavery and white supremacy and received standing ovations for attacking FOX News for covering his anti-American sermons.
Barack Obama’s retiring pastor delivered a sermon at Bank Street Memorial Baptist Church, where his late uncle had been the pastor, about overcoming trouble. The public appearance was his first since news broke that the Democratic presidential candidate’s pastor frequently rails on the United States.
Though Wright said nothing about Obama or the uproar itself, he alluded to the controversy while briefly back in the pulpit Saturday to deliver a eulogy for a late congregant of Trinity United Church of Christ — former appellate judge R. Eugene Pincham.
Wright, who is on sabbatical before retiring from Trinity United, said America’s mistreatment of blacks is the result of the founding fathers, who “planted slavery and white supremacy in the DNA of this republic.”
First reported by The Chicago Sun Times, Wright told mourners at the funeral that Thomas Jefferson, who partook in “pedophilia,” would also be considered unpatriotic these days because he wrote, “God would punish America for the sin of slavery.” He also quoted Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice, who said that the U.S. has a “congenital birth defect.”
Speaking of the seven lessons Pincham taught him, Wright said the judge’s faith “was not the jingoistic, chauvinistic ‘you’re either with us or against us’ demonizing kind of faith.”
“FOX News can’t understand that,” Wright said to rousing cheers and applause. “[Bill] O’Reilly will never get that. Sean Hannity’s stupid fantasy will keep him forever stuck on stupid when it comes to comprehending how you can love a brother who does not believe what you believe. [Pincham’s] faith was a faith in a God who loved the whole world not just one country or one creed.”
AND REMEMBER THIS IS BARACK HUSSEIN OBAMA’S Mentor that he didn’t know was racist for 20 years!!!! If you believe that one I’ve got some nice waterfront property in Florida for sale if you don’t mind large lizards in your yard!
The fact that one is elected to a political office doesn’t mean anything other than that person has has won a political office. If Obama or Hillary ever achieved anything on their own I might consider them for the office of president. Supporting causes and promoting certain ideals doesn’t cut it with me. Maybe Bloomberg might reconsider his options.
For anyone claiming that Obama is a bigot or an elitist, did Bill O’Reilly personally perform your lobotomies with his “loofah” or “falafel”? See, now that’s demeaning. If people are stupid enough to believe that Obama’s comments were an “attack” on anyone, then they’ll get what they deserve for rejecting him, the one candidate who will tell it like it is and who will address problems instead of pretending they don’t exist. And every Republican who used to fault liberals for PC behavior should take a long look in the mirror if they’re getting behind McCain’s pseudo-PC attack on Obama’s comments.
Obama doesn’t know anything about attacking. He never attacked anything in his entire life. It was always given to him. his life in Hawaii, his schooling, his association with a powerful radical minister…… it was all given to him. Does that entitle him to be given a chance to be president?
Dear Mike at 4:54….I’m praying for you.
Yo Rev-I guess I was (w)right. And does that mean I’m more (w)right than you ? Where the hell is LB anyway ? Remember,it’s Hallelujah in November when John McCain is elected President.
birdflewover, you’ve been spending too much time with the kooks and Husseiniacs.
Do you really think tax increases will create jobs and prosperity?
And you better check the stats. It’s a Democrat-Media mantra that the Republicans are the “party of the rich”, but the numbers show that the rich vote DEMOCRAT.
Hollywood, George Soros, Warren Buffet, Bill Gates, the Google founders, trail lawyers (especially those who made millions on tobacco settlements that should have gone for health care), Kennedys, Rockefeller, Corzine – all DEMOCRATS.
i’m renouncing my support for hillary.her shameless attacks on barry obama are embarrassing even me.what was i thinking about?is ralph nadar still running?how bout john edwards?
There are two candidates who can reach across the aisle to get things done: Obama and McCain. And Obama is more likely to help the country chart a path towards healing the devisions that have deepened in the past twenty years. HRC just plain can’t do that. She’s part fo the problem, not part of the solution. No wonder why she’s the bitter one.
LB, welcome back. Missed your words of wisdom. Loonies ruled the roost this weekend.
HRC is dividing her own party at a time when they previously looked like slamdunks to win. Why won’t she just do the right thing?
Say Hallelujah!
OK… so after better than a dozen starters, we have three major horses in the race. They all pander, they all “flex” the facts, they all bend the truth. They all have feet of clay. We didn’t get much different than what we had before. Why not look, as best we can, at the proposals everyone is offering and leave the Archie Bunker routine at the door. Archie was a entertaining with his bigotry , this crap isn’t
The Clinton supporters are grasping at straws. For her to win the nomination she needs to carry PA 60-40 AND win either Indiana or North Carolina.
Fat chance
Boy did I hit a cord here, looks like McCain and war with Iran and bombing another 300,000 children under 12 only this time Iranian is in the works… with all you brainwashed sheep so worried about your taxes, like if you really pay any. Do you know inflation is a tax, a huge one, do you know a weak dollar is a tax, a tax that hits you and not the rich cause they’re buying Euros and Yuan..did you know Bush II alone added at least 6 Trillion to our debt (read Stiglitz), we are bankrupt brother…we are now known around the world for torture, concentration camps and war crimes, and what do we have to show for it? a broken economy and it has just begun you ain’t seen nothing yet…is that the America you want? if so vote Republican again you losers and watch America implode and watch China buy all our grain and land and sell us lead toys with their slave labor. Republicans have sold America out to Europe, China and Saudi Arabia…suckers!
Yea the rich with morals vote Democrat, because they value liberty more than money but the majority of rich are corrupt Enron, Exxon Halliburton corporate exec types who profit from your stupidity because you poor idiots keep voting Republican like you were rich or something…if you are amoral or immoral AND making more than 500K/yr than you have a legitimate reason to vote Republican, if you are anyone else you’re a sucker fool!
First its “Typical white people”, now it’s “Bitter rural white people with their guns and religion”. Wake up white people, there’s a racist posing as a presidential candidate and it’s time he be outed. Obama needs diversity training now!
Birdflewover,
How can you be so naive? So you are willing to spend $1B a year on a socialist healthcare system? Go wrap yourself around a tree and save a spotted owl. Yuppie, soccer mom, do-gooder with too much time on your hands feeling guilty about living comfortably?
Say Hallelujah, sucker!
obama is nothing more than jesse jackson with a better vocabulary and delivery.
Birdflewover needs to change his bong water.
Nerds… all of you.
Jesse Jackson is a shakedown artist that uses race as a means to extort large corporations. I wouldn’t be throwing Obama in the same boat as ‘the other Rev”. Say Hallelujah!
George, have you been missing the double standard for the last 40 years? Whites must remain incredibly PC while their brothers from an african mother are free to speak their minds. Not intended to be racist; just the facts. How else would I have become such a household name? Say Hallelujah!
Brian, very insightful!
why can’t we all come together as a country, vote for nadar, make smores and sing kumbabaya?that’s the way it should be
Larry, the american people are tired of hearing ‘i said this but i meant that’,
barry obama is another john kerry,
obama and kerry the flip flop brothers,
barry obama and that race hustler wright is dividing the country with the racial nonsense,’mark my words’ obama will never win a general election,he should drop out of the race after penna.
Hillary is leading by 20pts in some polls in pa.,Hillary can win the general election she has a stronger base of voters, obama’s voters will bail as quickly as they came,in other words flip flop just like kerry and obama,
Larry, talk to you next week after Hillary takes barry to school.
Birdflewover- No,lets just turn the country over to the P.C. crowd & we can all hold hands & sing that song. You need a copy of America alone.Fast.
JR, if flip-flopping is your concern, how can you back Hillary? She was for excluding Michigan and Florida’s votes before she was for including them. She was being shot at in Bosnia before Bill explained she’s an anile 60+ year old who misremembered instead of lied. She was for invading Iraq before she was against being there. She was for NAFTA before she was against it. She claims to be for guns and shooting ducks, but she voted to authorize the federal government to seize every rifle and handgun in the country during a “state of emergency.” The list goes on. She’s got more flip flops than the Boardwalk. She’s the smug, wealthy Northeasterner who cannot connect, like Kerry.
So a statistical outlier poll put her 20 points up. The same polling group has been roundly criticized among pollsters for using dubious methods and running some of the least accurate polls. To use her strategy of moving the goalposts according to polling data (much like Bill did with policy decisions), let’s say then that if she doesn’t win by 20 points she’s not a viable candidate.
Anyone else going to see Michelle at Haverford College today?
leo,
Hillary is not the one who called (1)working class people ‘bitter’or
(2)said she is Not proud of america or
(3)has a racist hate mongering mentor/pastor for the last 20 years or
(4)dividing the party with racial nonsense or
(5)says one thing but means another
(6)etc,etc,etc.Bottom line obama cannot win the general election.
what’s next obama sail glidding with kerry,or bowling or maybe hunting,LOLOL,
obama and kerry would make a great movie- THE FLIP FLOPPERS (or ‘i said this but meant that’)
Jack, you’re living a Hillary-induced delusion. Bill and Hillary are the ones that started dividing the party over racial issues. Hillary and her surrogates are still exploiting that angle here in Pennsylvania. (Didn’t Hillary Hero Rendell essentially say that the salt-of-the-earth working people in Pennsylvania are racists when he said they wouldn’t vote for Obama because of skin color? How about Ferraro insinuating that affirmative action, etc., is the only reason Obama is having any success in his life?) And are you really going to attack him and Michelle as unpatriotic, resorting the the FauxNews/Kriostol mantra that everyone without a flag pin in his lapel is a terrorist? Anyone who doesn’t fall all over himself to say that the U.S. is NUMBER 1 all the time is trying to destroy the country? You engage in that kind of black and white thinking? The world is a far more subtle place than that. What’s offensive is Hillary using GOP tactics to try to tear down a man who represents hope for so many people who feel disenfranchised. She’s just going to drive the people Obama energized away from the party again. She is the one who is splitting the party and hurting its future for her personal gain. She’s the one who’s behind and has virtually no chance of winning the nomination. She’s the liar.
Leo-You’re getting yourself all worked up & for what ? Give him the nomination, let everyone feel good for a hot minute & then in November (with apologies to M.Stipe ) it’ll be “where is the rip chord the trap door the key “…..
YBP, McCain continues to dodder. When the campaign heats up, he’ll get tired and cranky. He’ll lose as soon as he actually has to start working. As it is, he wouldn’t have received the nomination if Huckabee and Romney hadn’t split NASCAR Nation.
And NObama wouldn’t be getting the nomination if Clinton hadn’t treated it like a coronation.”Where is the cartoon escape hatch for me “.
No interest in seeing Michelle Obama at Haverford, tired of being unfairly dressed down as a result of my race. However, Cindy and Meagan McCain are going on a colleg kegger tour which should be a lot more fun and much more inclusive!
LB, you are en fuego today.
JR,
Try someting different.
Answer the question!
George, does being “unfairly dressed down” include Obama’s acknowledgement that white people have a legitimate reason to feel upset about affirmative action? Is it simply that you’re uncomfortable discussing the serious racial issues that still confront us as a nation? The ones Condi Rice described as our national “birth defect”? (OOOoooh. Someone better pillory her for making an unpatriotic remark!)
FJ,
Your wasting your time with Jack Russell. He’s a very loyal Clinton lapdog. He’s home watching an Annie Oakley movie. Do not disturb. Say Hallelujah!
Hey OOOJ that’s my line, my brother from another mother.
OOOJ,
yea, I know. I’ve been pushing him for months. He’s got a laser lock on HRC.
FJ, some people can’t be saved. Say, Hallelujah!
