Flush With Cash - Clinton and Obama Making A Ten State Play

Some stories from the inside of the Pa. Primary Campaign.

Number one target for both campaigns - Montgomery County, considered an opportunity for Obama and a must for Clinton. Bucks is a lesser target, and Delaware is considered a Clinton coast to victory. Chester could go the way of Montco.

The keys for Clinton - hold Obama’s victory in Philadelphia down to maybe a ten percent win. Clinton needs to play even with him in the suburbs. She also needs big numbers in Southwestern Pa., which are doable.

For Obama: a big win in Philadelphia, coupled with large margins in the Phila. suburbs, Allentown and Scranton.

Both scenarios are dream scenarios and a lot of politicians on both sides are dreaming. The Obama campaign says a ten point or less victory by Clinton will be acceptable in Pa. The Clinton campaign insiders are hoping for a larger margin, maybe 59 to 41. Forget about it!

This election will be won by 6-8 points. The key is whose supporters are most passionate about coming out. The other key is how many Republicans and Independents are crossing over to register.

And now, the good news, for the other states.  Obama’s forces are already in operation in Indiana and North Carolina. Clinton’s campaign is just starting there. Both candidates have enough cash now to finish up in other key states like South Dakota and Kentucky, along with a key vote in Puerto Rico.

The candidates have the cash. Let’s see if they are smart enough to tone down the rhetoric.

When did Hillary Clinton ever deliver health-care reform and when did she demonstrate her economic wisdom and foresight while Alan Greenspan was warning of irrational exuberance as the subprime housing loans were created and pandered during her husband’s administration and her husband supported China’s entry into the World Trade Organization without any conditions such as protecting the environment or labor and property rights to levels that are comparable to western standards?

In 1999 Barack Obama secured bipartisan support for health-care reform and passage of low-income tax credits and child care subsidies in the Illinois legislature while Hillary Clinton was supporting her husband’s Iraq “regime change” policy in order to divert public attention from the president’s ethical infidelities.

When political and military judgment mattered most to U.S. military personnel and the American people, John McCain and Hillary Clinton failed as U.S. Senators to demonstrate any commander-in-chief qualities when without competent questioning, they both accepted the faulty intelligence used to justify the Iraq war and misjudged the Bush administration’s competencies to lead the war.

Barack Obama on the other hand demonstrated his superior leadership and commander-in-chief qualities when he took an unpopular position and cautioned that without clear rationale an invasion of Iraq would encourage the worst impulses of the Arab world and strengthen Al Qaeda’s recruitment.

Now, John McCain advocates maintaining U.S. troops in Iraq indefinitely which does little to incentivize the Iraqi government to deliver the political reforms needed to promote civil unity whereas Barack Obama’s threat to withdraw U.S. troops does more to incentivize the Iraqi government to deliver the necessary reforms.

The Clintons would have us believe that Hillary and Bill have been thoroughly vetted. If that were true, then why don’t we have answers for:

FOREIGN CLIENTS: How will Hillary know whether Bill’s advice serves U.S. interests or the interests of his Russian, Chinese, Indian, Kazakhstan, Dubai, Qatar, Kuwait, Oman or Brunei clients?

MONEY: Do the tax records for the Clintons and the Clinton Foundation, Clinton Library and Clinton campaign show a proper accounting for the sources and uses of funds?

PARDONS: Will Hillary “reject” contributions or compensation from persons she pardons unlike her husband Bill who accepted contributions from Marc Rich, partner of Viktor Bout (the merchant of death), and her brother Hugh Rodham who accepted compensation from drug lords who were pardoned by Bill?

Hillary a “hometown” girl? Her daddy had a summer home in PA that she used to visit for a few weeks a year, that’s it. Hillary was born and raised in Chicago, then moved to Arkansas with Billy.

She even has a southern draw now (when speaking to black audiences).

The only thing that can save Obama is if they can find an old clip of Rev. Wright being black jacked over the head during a civil rights demonstration. Having water cannons and tear gas being dispersed over the demonstrators wouldn’t hurt either. While German Shepard dogs nip at the Reverend’s heels the clip then cuts to Martin Luther King addressing the crowd stating “we must judge a man on the basis of his character not the color of his skin”.
If that doesn’t create sympathy for the old Reverend Wright nothing will.

Well with Hillary actually LOSING Texas the only thing that is clear is that she will not catch Obama in delegates. The only way that she gets the nomination is by backroom dealing and that will just pave the way for McCain to be President.

Hillary continuing to fight = McCain for President

    hey guys,

I read where nancy Pelosi said this race ia about delegtes, getting the most delegates.Well if that is true(I know the delegates are supposed to be elected)
why do we bother with primaries?Justpick the delegates and let them do their own thing, save lots of money and give the press/media something else to dwell on,like real life.

“Commentary: The Wright Dust-Up Shows and Proves That Many Whites Don’t Know Black People at All
    Date: Sunday, March 16, 2008
    By: Deborah Mathis, BlackAmericaWeb.com

The eruption of outrage, shock and fear that is flowing over Barack Obama’s campaign like hot lava because his pastor has preached some strident sermons tells us one thing for certain: Many white people don’t know black people at all.

If they did, they would know that Rev. Jeremiah Wright of Chicago is hardly the only black minister who uses the pulpit to rant against racial duplicity and injustice. The black church has always been the place for letting our hair down and speaking our peace — a safe haven from the criminations outside. It’s how and why the black church became the nursery for the freedom and civil rights movements. Not every minister seasons his or her sermons with political commentary, and not every one who does is as fiercely spoken as Rev. Wright, but there is nothing unusual about the black clergy as social agitator. Guess the shockees didn’t know that.

It seems they were also clueless that, when race, racism and discrimination do invade the pulpit, it is not always in the context of forgiveness and humility. Much of black America is resentful, angry and distrustful — rightly so, some of us would say. Did the uninitiated honestly believe that slavery, lynching, Jim Crow, white resistance and flight, economic and educational duality, hyper-incarceration and yawning disparities in wealth, health and longevity have had no lasting effects; that all of that is really no big deal — something we can kick off as easily as our Sunday shoes?
    Surprise.

This could be a teaching moment for the society at large, which would do well to pay closer attention to 35 million of its members and to give heed to their accounts of their own experiences. Unfortunately, and typically, the alarmists are threatening to make it a Waterloo for Obama.
The candidate has denounced Rev. Wright’s statements about America’s treachery, honest as they were.

Obama has even removed his Wright from his ministerial council. That had to be painful for Obama, who has otherwise spoken devotedly of the preacher who “brought me to Jesus,” performed his marriage ceremony and baptized his daughters.

Those pounds of flesh are not enough for the alarmists, however. They and frothing pundit after frothing pundit want the candidate to rebuke Wright categorically — mind, body and soul.

Obama is in the unenviable position of having to court a large and diverse audience — the American electorate generally and Democratic voters particularly — that includes a good number of people who have no knowledge of, curiosity about, nor sympathy for the black experience, while, at the same time, remaining true to what he knows about Rev. Wright specifically and the black church generally.

It’s a delicate balance, and Obama has tried to strike it, explaining to journalists that the anger and disdain expressed by Rev. Wright reflect common themes in “the black memory,” albeit not sentiments he shares.

In a fair world, Obama would be able to elaborate about the black perspective and thereby give some context to Wright’s comments and the facts of black expression.

But, then, in a fair world, there would be no racial divide to bridge. Of course, Obama’s detractors would never consider that. “

  9. Dave
    March 17th, 2008 | 10:55 pm

So let me get this straight…poor Barack Obama, having to bridge the racial divide. And while we’re at it, poor Reverend Wright, unfairly portrayed as an Anti-American racist. Let me tell you, I have been waiting for the media to finally do its job in respect to Obama….perhaps in this instance they will.

Obama sat in the pews of this church for 20 years and never heard any sort of inappropriate sermons from Wright. And he never heard from other parishoners about any such sermons. And he never went on Youtube and found such sermons. And he never was told by his political operatives about such sermons. And he never knew that Wright went with the bigot Farrakhan to Libya to meet Khaddafi. And he never knew that Wright gave the jew-hater Farrakhan an award in church. Remember, this is no campaign lackey saying this stuff…this is his spiritual mentor, his uncle, his pastor of 20 years…the person who married him and baptized his daughters. Obama and Wright are fused together…no amount of denials, repudiations, removals, or exclusions are going to cut it here. And don’t even try to group this in with the Geraldine Ferraro comments…this is infinitely more nefarious.

The facts are that Obama knew exactly what was going on here. Before he announced his candidacy for President, he dis-invited Wright from the ceremony…”your sermons are a little rough”. Why the need to exclude his mentor, his uncle from such an important day? Obama knew about everything…like any liar he only felt the need to address it after he was finally confronted by the truth. He probably was wondering what took so long, but since the media is all but blowing him, is it any wonder? I am no fan of Fox News, but they are the only ones asking the detailed questions that any real reporter would ask. And look at the Philadelphia Inquirer…the only mention that I have noticed about this story was about 1/16th of a page buried on page 18 or so. This guy is close to being the President of the United States, not some state-senator. He should be held up to a higher standard.

Either Obama is naive, stupid, or a liar. He comes off as too smart not to know about such an important issue. He has plenty of smart people around him that we definitely aware of this issue. How stupid does he think that the electorate is? Then again, based on what he has seen with the brainwashed morons fawning over him, he probably thought he was going to get away with it.

I saw him on several cable news shows on Friday. After this, I am certain that he is a liar. And this is no little fib…this cuts to the core of the reason behind his candidacy. He is not a uniter as he claims. How could he sit there for years hearing this bile? He could have switched churches if he did not agree with Wright’s sermons. He could have complained to his uncle Wright about the tone and content of the sermons. He did nothing. Only when he had a gun to his head, does Obama come out with some far-fetched explanation. And what the hell does it have to do with anything that Wright is/has retired. Just because a despot is retiring, does that mean we do not have to deal with him. What if FDR said, “OK, I know Hitler did some bad things, but he is retiring, so I’ll just let it go.” Please, how stupid are the lemmings following this guy.

And what of Osama’s judgement….he says that he would be right from day one, and that is more important than being ready from day one. Well, how right was he to put Rev Wright on his ministerial council in December of 2007, after dis-inviting him from his announcement ceremony. Not to mention Obama’s good judgment in the Rezko scandal…there is plenty more to come out on that. Like how coincidental that Osama bought his house for $300K less than the asking price and Rezko bought the lot next door.
Where are the investigative reporters, Larry? I am sure that the Republicans will find out everything if Obama is the nominee.

And I do not want to hear how a black church is different, how blacks were slaves 200 years ago, how a white person could not understand…I understand a racist, anti-American bigot, I assure you.

To be honest with you, I am a Clinton supporter. She is the most qualifed person for the job. She is the brightest of the three candidates left. She has her husband at her side, so there will be no need for President 101 courses that Obama would need (and haven’t we had enough of this learning on the job for the last 7 years). Unfortunately, sexism is even more powerful than racism in this country. There are many males that are fearful of having a woman in charge. I am not.

If Obama makes it through this, it will be the media’s fault. If Hillary was in the same situation, believe me, the media would destroy her. Especially the MSNBC nitwits, who are so up Obama’s butt that you could see their shiny hairdos when Obama opens his mouth. I have lost all respect for you, Olbermann and Matthews. You too, Anderson Cooper. Do you need any more pillows, Senator Obama?

If Obama is the nominee, there will be 5 more votes for McCain in PA.

    THIS IS CRITICAL

I am asking all voters throughout all Pennsylvania (my home state also) to vote for Senator Hillary Clinton in the Democratic Party Primary on Tuesday April 22nd. The contest between her and Barack Obama is very close, and it’s obvious now it will not be decided now until the convention. That means that the “Super Delegates” will be making the final decision. We must keep the momentum going forward that the voters gave her in Ohio and Texas. It’s critical. We must keep up the pressure.

In fact the pressure is higher now for her voters to really pour out to the polls on April 22nd. It’s possible that delegates she could have earned from Florida and Michigan will be denied her. I will comment on that separately.

Let me direct the voter to the http://www.HillaryClinton.com website for a refresher of some her plans for the people here in Pennsylvania, and the rest of the 50 states. Concerning health care coverage, Hillary Clinton’s plan will cover everybody. Mr. Obama’s plan won’t. Go into the “Fact Hub” sub-section under “Newsroom” at the top of the main page. The references are all in there. Approximately 15 million people will have no coverage under the Obama plan. Maybe or maybe not, you will or will not have health care coverage under an Obama plan. Also dig into the “Issues” section from the top of the main website page. Many great specifics in there, with excellent detail – not glowing “feel good” generalities.

I want to highten everyone’s antenna to much of which is going on with the Obama campaign to date. I will do so here with one outstanding analysis (in quotes) from a highly distinguished journalist.

Bill Maxwell’s status as one of the country’s preeminent black journalists is unquestioned. Mr. Maxwell writes a twice-weekly column for the St. Petersburg Times, and is syndicated by the New York Times News Service and by Scripps-Howard. His columns appear in 200 newspapers worldwide.

Bill Maxwell, “Obama’s Dangerous Halo”, Scripps Howard News Service, February 27, 2008. From the article: “There are those who suggest, only half-jokingly, that Obamamania has become something of a cult. Of course it is a cult, manifesting what writer James Wolcott refers to as “salvational fervor” and “pure euphoria.” Listen to what the Anointed One said in South Carolina at one of his rallies, which he alludes to as tent revivals: “At some point in the evening, a light is going to shine down and you will have an epiphany and you’ll say, ‘I have to vote for Barack!’ Something insidious is happening beneath this rapture. Because of the halo effect, too many people are afraid to sincerely criticize Obama for fear of being attacked and otherwise humiliated. Many white Democrats who do not support Obama are keeping their heads down and their mouths shut. They do not want to be denounced as racists for preferring Hillary Rodham Clinton for reasons that have nothing to do with race”.

Continuing in the article; “Even the networks’ late night talk-show hosts and MSNBC’s prime-time troika of Chris Matthews, Keith Olbermann and Dan Abrams are swooning for Obama. Predictably, the people most negatively affected by Obamamania are blacks who have resisted the new, emerging black monolith by supporting Clinton. These poor souls are being excoriated by other blacks and sometimes labeled as self-loathing Uncle Toms. The irony is that at the beginning of the campaign, conventional wisdom held that Obama was “not black enough.” He had to prove his black bona fides. After all, his mother was a white Kansan, his father a Kenyan. He was born too late for the civil rights movement. Now the tables have turned, with the overwhelming majority of blacks zealously supporting him. That support is the new litmus test for being “authentically” black.”

“The attacks against ordinary blacks who do not support the Haloed One are nasty enough, but they pale in comparison to the abuse being absorbed by famous blacks, especially members of the Congressional Black Caucus. Many decent, hardworking blacks who have done exemplary public work for a generation are portrayed as villains”.

Ladies and Gentlemen — throughout all Pennsylvania — this contest has nothing to do with “race”; but who is prepared to take over as President from this incompetent buffoon we have had the last seven years at 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue and help get this country back on track.

We really are in serious shape, and we need someone who can come on board, lead, and tackle the problems immediately - and yes, with a new Congress. It can be done, but we need a President who knows what they’re doing, and that has to be Hillary Rodham Clinton.

We don’t need a “preacher”… for this problem.

    Thank you for your attention.

    Common Sense 12

  15. March 18th, 2008 | 6:06 am

    Dave,
No matter who wins, it will be the result (fault?) of the voters. Polls consistently indicate that people rail against the media, not trusting, not believing. The voters cast the ballots. The board of the Inky or the DN get only one vote per person. The problem is with the electorate.

  17. AnybodyButHillary
    March 18th, 2008 | 7:21 am

Why is it that Hillary supporters can’t accept the fact she is behind in delegate count, it is highly unlikely she can catch Obama and he will likely get the nomination? Are they math-impaired?

  18. Dave
    March 18th, 2008 | 8:29 am

At this point, it has absolutely nothing to do with math. It has to do with social studies, in this case racism. A racist is a racist is a racist. In any type of clothing, in any disguise, no matter how venomous or candy-coated, the words are what they are. Words matter don’t they? And who is the bigger racist, the one speaking the words or the one who stands by and does nothing?
Obama now will try to distance himself from himself, but we have only been made aware of the tip of this iceberg. It now lies with the media to uncover the truth (if they are inclined to do so).

The new math is this: If Obama gets the nomination, he will lose to McCain. he will not get the traditional Democratic vote. He will get the black vote of course, and the white ultra-liberals. Older white voters, most women, and Joe Six-Pack will not vote for an anti-white bigot.

“Earth to George Bush & Hillary Clinton (from John Taplin’s blog)
    March 17, 2008 ·

The President doesn’t want you to worry about the financial meltdown. He’s “on top of the situation”. I feel much better now.

Meanwhile, Hillary Clinton, mindful of not *!$$!NG off her husband’s Wall Street benefactors tread very lightly.

“I’m not going to second guess the Fed,” Clinton said. “Now we are in the soup and we better get ourselves out of it before the consequences get drastic,” Clinton said.

If she and Bill are so disconnected from reality that they don’t already know the consequences are drastic, then we better revisit their “return to the good times” argument for a third Clinton term……..I suppose I need to remind my readers where this whole mess started. Sandy Weill went and bought Citibank when legally investment banks and money center banks were not supposed to merge. Bill Clinton and his Treasury Chief Robert Rubin (who subsequently became Vice Chairman of Citibank) decided to OK the deal anyway. From there it was a slippery slope right into our current crisis as banks and investment funds needed to create “new product” (debt securities) to keep growing. The Clintons talk a good game about looking out for the little people, but its those $1 million contributors to the Clinton Charities Inc. that they are really looking out for. As the AP points out.

As senator from New York, Clinton has received the most money from employees of large Wall Street firms. Bear Stearns employees have given her the most, with total donations of $152,000. Likely Republican nominee Sen. John McCain received $47,000 from Bear Stearns employees and Obama got $36,000.”

MORE FACTS ON THE FLORIDA SKULLDUGGERY

Please read through. We all here in Pennsylvania can help.

I have done some research on the Florida mess from researching some of the actual newspaper reports from that time and I would like to share this with the voters here – in all 50 states, because it affects us all if this thing stands.

It was the Republican Governor and Republican controlled legislature that moved up the date of the primary, knowing full well in advance that the state’s Democratic Party delegates would not be seated. The Democratic Party did not agree to this. It was not their idea. It was “forced” down their throats when the Republican controlled legislature tacked it on to some critical legislation that had to go through at the end of the last legislative session. The Democratic people tried to have it separated and voted on separately, but the Republican Party who was in control said no, and muscled it through. Of course that was not fair.

It appears what we had above was a recurrence of the earlier George Bush and his son Governor Jeb Bush/Kathryn Harris Republican Party of Florida from year 2000 up to its ole tricks of thievery.

    _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _

I now give you the following exact quotes from the McClatchy Newspapers, August 25, 2007, by Lesley Clark written at the time.

“Florida Democrats argued that they were outnumbered 2 to 1 in the Legislature and that Republicans made it impossible for Democrats to vote against the measure by including language requiring paper voting machine trails in the bill”. “Florida Democrats pleaded with the committee (referring to the Democratic National Committee) for “mercy,” saying they were steam-rolled by a Republican majority in the Legislature that was intent on moving the presidential primary to Jan. 29 — even if it meant trampling both party’s calendars.

“Florida Democrats did what they could, but in the end we failed,” said Florida Democratic Party chairwoman Karen Thurman.

    _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _

How about it everybody? Is the above what Howard Dean and his Democratic National Committee in unwitting “concert” with the Obama campaign may want to force down our throats now?

Do we have any lawyers around? Where’s the famous David Boise? Can someone call him please? Thank you.

One of the reasons I am posting this on this very fine Larry Kane http://www.philly.com website, is I want to emphasize that we Pennsylvanian’s can make a BIG difference by really pouring out to the polls on April 22nd. The more we can pour it on, the more delegates we can win for Hillary Clinton….. and this will help make up for this possible sabotage in Florida.

    Thank you.

    Incomplete Reporting

    - - - - -

I want to note the reporting here in the Enquirer on the Barack Obama speech in Philadelphia on Tuesday by the following writers and reporters: Catherine Lucey, Gloria Campisi, Jennifer Lin, Thomas Fitzgerald, Annette John-Hall, Jill Porter, and others. I thought they all were accurate and informative, but collectively, as a group, in my opinion, they didn’t go far enough.

    - - - - -

I want to call your attention to an excellent article that can be viewed on line at http://www.washingtonpost.com with the writer Michael Gerson, March 19, 2008, titled “A Speech That Fell Short”.

    - - - - -

I will present some excerpts here in quotes.

    - - - - -

“The problem with Obama’s argument is that Wright is not a symbol of the strengths and weaknesses of African Americans. He is a political extremist, holding views that are shocking to many Americans who wonder how any presidential candidate could be so closely associated with an adviser who refers to the “U.S. of KKK-A” and urges God to “damn” our country”.

    - - - - -

“Obama’s excellent and important speech on race in America did little to address his (referring to Obama) strange tolerance for the anti-Americanism of his spiritual mentor” – the Reverend Jeremiah Wright.

    - - - - -

“Take an issue that Obama did not confront yesterday. In a 2003 sermon, Wright claimed, “The government lied about inventing the HIV virus as a means of genocide against people of color.”

    - - - - -

Continuing: “This accusation does not make Wright, as Obama would have it, an “occasionally fierce critic of American domestic and foreign policy.” It makes Wright a dangerous man. He has casually accused America of one of the most monstrous crimes in history, perpetrated by a conspiracy of medical Mengeles. If Wright believes what he said, he should urge the overthrow of the U.S. government, which he views as guilty of unspeakable evil. If I believed Wright were correct, I would join him in that cause”.

    - - - - -

“But Wright’s accusation is batty, reflecting a sputtering, incoherent hatred for America. And his pastoral teaching may put lives at risk because the virus that causes AIDS spreads more readily in an atmosphere of denial, quack science and conspiracy theories”.

    - - - - -

Wow. We never heard such inflammatory rhetoric (that is 100% absolutely wrong on every bit of the science and the facts) from major historic leaders of the Civil Rights movement such as the Reverend Jesse Jackson, nor Reverend Martin Luther King, Jr., nor Congressman John Lewis and others of similar stature.

I totally agree with Mr. Gerson’s analysis as an overview that it shows serious bad judgment on the part of Barack Obama to continue to go hear such heated rhetoric over some 20 years, and that includes bringing his children and wife there with him as well.

On this primary campaign underway, it’s my judgment that Hillary Clinton will continue her campaign of leadership, and with strong support from all of us here in Pennsylvania with an overwhelming vote in her favor (hopefully) on April 22nd - which is seriously needed, by the time of the Convention or during the Convention she will be voted in as the Democratic Party nominee, and the American people will then elect her on November 4th as our next President of these United States. Mr. Obama can continue attending his church (whenever he is in town in Chicago) and keep hearing more of those uplifting messages of “hope”, or whatever they are.

    THINGS ARE CLOSE. SEE BELOW.

    Attention: Everyone here in Pennsylvania

We can do this! BUT, we must hit those polls hard on April 22nd…. We need to hit the ball out of the park….. and we need an overwhelming vote — for HILLARY CLINTON that is!

THE RACE: The presidential race for Democrats nationally -
    ____

    THE NUMBERS FROM GALLUP

    Hillary Rodham Clinton, 49 percent

    Barack Obama, 42 percent

    ____

OF INTEREST: For the first time in nearly six weeks, Hillary Rodham Clinton leads Barack Obama, 49 percent to 42 percent in daily tracking polling conducted this past Sunday to Tuesday. Her last lead was in the Feb. 7-9 polling, which was coming off the heels of her strong showing on Super Tuesday.

The Gallup Poll is based on telephone interviews conducted March 16-18, and is part of an ongoing tracking poll in which Gallup interviews 1,000 new adults every day. These results are based on interviews with 1,209 Democratic and Democratic-leaning voters nationally and has a margin of sampling error of plus or minus 3 percentage points.

    Larry-

I just heard your latest report on KYW regarding the current state of affairs post-Obama speech. And I was disappointed to hear that you, too, drank the kool-aid. Where the hell is any reporter with an objective viewpoint?
I can tell you that anyone that I have spoken with will not let this matter die and will never vote for Obama because of it.

Obama’s speech on race was just a smokescreen, merely a diversion so that everyone would forget about his anti-American, racist pastor and how Obama sat there for 20 years listening to this crap and said nothing. It is not about race people, it is about judgement. It is about the basic principle that we should demand from a President…that he or she is a patriot and would defend his or her country when she is wronged….with his or her life if necessary!

Osama Obama sat there for 20 years and did nothing. And other people saw him sitting there as the Rev Wright accused the United States of creating AIDS to kill people of color…he did not question the message…when Rev Wright said that our country deserved 9/11 as punishment for our sins in WWII, Vietnam, Iraq, etc….not a peep was heard from the junior Senator from Illinois…….when Rev Wright went on a diatribe about Hillary Clinton and said that the country was run by rich White People….Obama (a rich black person living in a 1.5 million dollar house) did not give a news conference to condemn these remarks….ONLY WHEN HE WAS FORCED TO DO SOMETHING, ONLY WHEN A GUN WAS PUT AT THE HEAD OF HIS POLITICAL CAREER DID HE GET OFF HIS BUTT AND SOMEWHAT, HALF-HEARTEDLY, DISAVOW SOMETHING THAT THE REV WRIGHT SAID…..and the people that saw him sitting there, going along with the program, what did they think? I would guess that they thought that Obama was in total agreement with the sermons…that Obama would have left the church or at least raised the issue with the good Reverend that maybe, just maybe his sermons shouldn’t be so “rough”.

That would have showed leadership… instead we got a mamby-pamby opportunist who put his status in the black community ahead of his country. If he said something, maybe Rev Wright wouldn’t provide all of the contacts that Obama needed to get ahead in the Chicago political world. Maybe the black community wouldn’t consider him one of their own, he would be a half-white Uncle Tom…that wouldn’t jive too well, would it Barack Hussein Obama? You’d be just another typical, honky-loving black and that would be bad for your street cred, right.

The mainstream media is only too glad to push this issue aside. They have already chosen Obama as President. On CNN they reported today that someone in the Osama camp compared his speech to the Emancipation Proclamation and this sealed the deal on the nomination. And the nitwit CNN reporters were not disputing that assertion. I heard his speech and it was more BS, just like before. Someone needs to dissect it, point-by-point. I’ll probably have to do it, because nobody in the media has the balls to do it. But let’s be clear…this has nothing to do with race…it has everything to do with poor judgment…and Obama is not worthy of the presidency. He is un-electable.

One more thing….it is funny how Obama’s camp says that the superdelegates should vote according to how the state voted in the primary, but they are more than willing to accept superdelegates such as Kerry and Kennedy in Mass (won by Hillary), Richardson in NM (won by Hillary), etc. What a bunch of hypocrites! And this Michigan/ Florida debacle is going to come back and haunt Osama if he does steal the nomination. Again, we Democrats have screwed it up and if this does not get fixed, we are going to hand the presidency to McCain. There will be five votes for him in PA if Obama is the nominee.
