I think Bill Clinton can be a great asset to Hillary on the campaign trail if he would just tone down some of his attacks against Obama. I listened to Obama's comments about Reagan/Republican party came away with the impression that he had given praise to Reagan/Republican party for generating new ideas. Maybe I missed something but if he thought the ideas were bad, he should have been more clear and said so. I certainly, if I were in the Clinton's shoes would have attacked him on those statements.
I do agree that we need less mud-slinging and more of: "what solutions am I going to provide to solve the key issues facing the U.S.". Personally, I think there are way too many debates that I believe opens the door to the type of personal attacks we saw in the last Democratic debate. They need to do something to stay awake!!!
I think Clinton, Obama or even Edwards would be a much better President and Leader than any of the Republican candidates - all I see in any of them is 4 more years of Bush but with a different last name. The best of the R-bunch is McCain but his age scares me.
Anyway, thanks gents for keeping a Philly boy now living in SoCal entertained with your lively opinions. Hell, now I'm jonesing for a Geno's Cheesesteak.

I don't know how old Jerry is but I tend to agree with him. We should not vote for another baby boomer president. The whole baby boomer generation took a free ride on the gravy train and have landed us in the middle of nowhere.

Hey Guys,

Gotta ease up on JR, he's just a misinformed lapdog of HillBillary, also seems to have a short memory, I've been trying for a while to get him to explain her "35 years" of experience. And it's really amusing when he says she will restore honor and credibility to the Whitehouse... I don't know how everyone else feels, but I was almost as embarassed being an American during the Clinton years, as I was when another "DEMOCRAP" by the name of Carter was President and let American citizens remain in captivity for 444 days. It took a "REPUBLICAN" to bring them home.

Tony, I think JR is smoking that cigar 3$Bill and Monica was using. This woman is joke, let alone a prospective great leader....

And, who cares who "Fat Eddie" endorses, this is the moron who is just trying to tax us to death....

Jim, not to mention the possibility that Bill will try to use Hillary as a humidor in the Oval Office if she's elected. What a doofus.

JR, take a look at the campaign. There is no dignity to the Clinton method. It's mud wrestling.

Bill Clinton is ineligible to run again because the Constitution limits Presidents to two terms PERIOD. The only way one could serve longer than eight years is if one becomes President and serves no more than two years of another President's term.

For example, had President Ford won in 1976 or made a comeback in 1980, he could have served only one term, because he served more than two years of President Nixon's second term.

The non-consecutive thing applies in several states but not to the Presidency.

Hillary is a joke-but we are the stupid ones. Remember the days when she wanted to be know as Hillary Rodham? She is so contrived. Bill will have a HUGE impact on her administration. Why didn't he just run for a third term-it is non consecutive, therefore consitutional. That would be too honest. We don't need 4-8 more years of the clintons. We need a new generation of leadership. The boomers have had thier shot, and look at what we have had for the last 16 years.
