If anyone of you is a reader then you have to appreciate the sadness in “Shrub”, the Molly Ivans book on GW Bush, PRIOR to his 2000 election. Molly was known for her wonderful sarcastic wit, which could not be expressed sufficiently in “Shrub” because what she shared was true.

Anyone who had an inquisitive mind could NOT have voted for him or his platform, because they would have recognized him as a “wolf in sheep’s clothing.”

I’m just sorry the average intelligence in the US is estimated at 8th grade reading level. And when is the last time an 8th grader read a book at will?

Larry I guess you did little research on The Trinity United Church of Christ of Chicago. How could any politician be associated with a church that:
Of the 12 values on their website –>

3) A congregation actively seeking RECONCILIATION.
(4) A congregation with a non-negotiable COMMITMENT TO AFRICA.

(8) Disavowal of the Pursuit of “Middleclassness”

(10) A congregation working towards ECONOMIC PARITY.

Can you say socialism ?

Exactly what is/are:

Black Family
Black Work Ethic
Black Value System?
I thought there was either a positive or a negative version of these entities, not a racial division to be parsed out.

How does one do RECONCILIATION and with whom when it’s exclusively about all things Black?

What exactly entails the non-negotiable COMMITMENT TO AFRICA? Where exactly does America fit in with your system?

What exactly does LIBERATION mean? Is this something in the mother land? Where does America fit in if it is not your mother land?

The segregationist, bigoted, inflammatory, separatist, hateful, angry, myopic message of the “Christian Church” is akin to the failed Liberian emmigration policy floated during Abraham Lincoln’s days. It is akin to the anarchistic Black National messages of the 1960′s and 1970′s.

Remember this the next time a member of the press excoriates Republican candidate Mitt Romney for the Mormon Church’s less than stellar past with respect to race. Obama’s house of worship’s racial deficiencies exist in the here and now, and remain heretofore unexamined

They began this campaign by sending their attack mongrel Coulter out after Edwards when he was ahead to make sure Hillary got into the lead. Now they are attacking Obam to make sure Hillary gets out front again. They know how to run against her, they have been doing it for years, lots of scandals to open up again, especially those that relate directly to her and not to Bill. Their main hope next Novenber is to rally the troops one more time against Hillary, notice how prior to the New Hampshire primary, the Repub candidates once again started on the classic old shiboliths like “HillaryCare”, trying to establish that they are know how to run against her.

I am a simple pawn in the great game of politics. If the skeptics are right Mr. Rove is actually using reverse psychology by criticizing Obama. Mr. Rove wants Obama to pick up his attacks on Hillary so they can both be brought down by mutual destruction.
Rove’s main objective however is to keep Hillary off the November ballot. Apparently Rove thinks Obama will be easier to beat. The Republicans will save the race card for the Nov. election and turn Obama into the next Al Sharpton. If all of this is true I resign the game. I quit. I’ve had it. Someone tell me that Mr. Rove is not that smart or maniacal.

Larry says of Rove, “He wants Hillary to win the nomination” Larry also says a slash at Obama by Rove is tantamount to telling millions to vote for Obama.
Larry as usual you sit on the fence and are of no help at all. I really loved the definitive quote that they “both may be shoo-ins.” Larry is that your definition of going out on a limb.
