Enough Paris! Drunk Driving Enemies Take Note!

Lost in all the after-jail hysteria about Paris Hilton was the bottom line fact that she drove drunk and was sent to jail for violating her probation. Does that disturb any of you?

Drunk driving kills a lot of people in this country.

Paris Hilton has received much too much sympathy. So, I say, from an ungrateful nation: “If you really want to prove your worth as a human being, start by campaigning against drivers who drink and drive at the same time.”

Me feeling is that Paris Hilton took us for a ride after her short stay in jail, much like the convicted style-maker Martha Stewart.

The truth is what you say it is. For Paris, the truth lies in her videotape, her public actions, and her simplistic attempts to seek sympathy.

Larry, I cannot begin to count the number of publications, blogs, and other newssources that I wrote into because they neglected to mention the underlying. and frankly very serious cause of Paris legal troubles. Everybody has repeatedly said that she was in jail for violating her probation. While that’s true, that’s not all of it. In contrast to recent culture, people should have been making a big deal out of the fact that she was initally flagged for DUI, and not her whole prison sentence soap opera.

Personally, I think Paris Hilton is an ungrateful little (pardon my French) bitch! This whole “celebrity” culture has got us Americans pretty darn riled. Memo to news orginizations: ENOUGH ALREADY! There, I said it.
