Ironic, isn’t it, that Republicans may be the catalyst to move the intransigent President to take some direct action to extricate the troops, from Iraq, but maintain a strong presence in the region?
It’s good that the right wing is beginning to reconcile with their mistake. However, I can’t help but wonder why nobody applied skepticism failed to. The left wing sure did not. Journalists did not. An insider told me that was the one story Peter Jennings was never allowed to cover. I say this as this story is starting to make the rounds on the blogs. ABC news shot him down when he said that that the possibility of their being WMDs was impossible. Now that everybody has been dumbfounded, the next step is to try to fix this and learn from this.
