General Pace’s Remarkable Statements May Shake Up The White House
General Peter Pace, Chairman of the Joint Chiefs, is an outspoken leader. This time, the Marine veteran directly contradicted White House and Military sources who said that deadly bomb parts that killed American soldiers came from the “highest levels” of the Iranian government.
The General did say that they came from Iran, but he denied that they were sent by the Iranian government. All of this makes you wonder who is telling the truth. Peter Pace is the same General who doubted the potential impact of the troop surge, and defended the right of lawmakers to criticize the war.
Interesting.
The General’s boss is the President. His candor is shocking and perhaps enlightening if his assertions can be backed up.
Meanwhile, in the middle of the mania over Anna Nicole , the incredulous wild ride of an astronaut, and the slow pace of the Democratic Majority, mainstream media may be missing a story – an overt challenge to the government leakers who may ne itching for a showdowm with the iranians.

General Pace was right about gay behavior being immoral. Chugh Hagel doesn’t know what immoral means as all the other policticaly correct? leaders.
bravo for General Pace!!!!!!!!!!!
I want to applaud the general for expressing his personal opinions concerning homosexuality! It is his personal opinion, expressed as such and given as such. He did not check his morals at the door when he entered the military, nor should he have to. He has the right to believe what he wants concerning morality. He should have the right to express it without fear.
Oh but I forgot, thats not modern. If I say that I BELIEVE homosexuality is immoral thats not stylish. Let me see that would hatespeach. Perhaps we should live like Europe where preachers in service cannot speak anything against homosexuality without fear of jail. Do you honestly believe preachers are preaching to hate homosexuals! They preach that it is a sin, and sin is sin weather homosexual sin or stealing or murder. They preach out of love and concern and not hate. America are you aware that in some cities of California now preachers must preach in fear of jail now if that preach against homosexuality. Is this what you want the country to become. Censored.
Shall we start fleeing America for our religious beliefs like those of Europe long ago!
Wake up America. Allow this man who fights for our freedoms to excercise his own!
Erin: Well written and thoughtful. I still believe that public people should be careful about the impact of their statements.
But thanks for writing.

Fernando: Didn’t mean to ignore your letter. I appreciate the thoughts.
