Gotta agree with you, Mr. Kane! We spend an awful lot of energy on the past - right or wrong - and not nearly enough on the future and what we can/should do to forestall problems. But, you are correct - this is the season for politics, and as such, there just isn't a whole lot of common sense prevailing on any front. It can be difficult for the uninitiated to wade through the 'spin', but the savvy voter will take into account information for MANY sources and not rely on one outlet to make their decisions on Election Day. Foks, GET INFORMED, and participate in the election process. You don't ahve to like it, but you owe it to yourself to get read-up on the important issues and the candidates themselves who will be making decisions on yuor behalf. While you are at it, get all of your friends and relatives active, too. The deadline for registering for the November elections is fast approaching. Why not make this a banner off-year and get involved and become a change merchant? What can it hurt? You might even be one of the fortunates to live in a state where you are eligible to 'early-vote' and not even have to leave home and fight the 'crowds' at the polls. If you don't like the way that your elected officials are behaving in the political arena - vote them out! If you DO like what they are doing - vote to keep 'em in! Don't just sit on the sidelines and watch - GET INVOLVED!!! God Bless America! And, while we're at it, America, Bless God!!
