The Name of the Game – Islamo-Fascism
In terms of diplomacy and the world wide terror war, world leaders are hesitate to describe enemies with labels. But that is changing. In the last few weeks the President has used the terms Islamo-Fascism or Islamic-Fascism several times. More and more Senators and members of Congress are using that term as a description of the enemy.
The truth is that Fascist elements of Islam are responsible for most all of the terror acts or terror threats in the world. But the hesitancy on the part of key world figures in using those two words was a direct result of a sensitivity toward peace loving Muslims who certainly don’t wanted to be branded. Can you blame them?
The good news about all of this is that responsible leaders have come to the point where they are not afraid to call the enemy the enemy. That may contribute to profiling, but the truth is the truth even if it is painful to some.
For those of you who may be alarmed about the term Islamic-Fascism just remember that from the streets of Iraq, to the rhetoric coming from Iran, in the war in Lebanon, during the planned jet bombing threat in England, and before 9/11 and after that fateful day. Islamic terrorists from Malaysia to Manhattan have been responsible for almost all of the violence in the last twenty years.
Frankly, this reporter feels that there has been too much tip-toeing around this issue and that’s about time leaders called it what is is.

Larry, you bring up a good point. I always thought it was unfair to Muslims who don’t have anything to do with terroism. The more I think of it, the labels and Islamo-Fascism refers specifically to Islamic Extremists. They are the ones who think they’ll be rewarded in the after life for blowing up non-Muslims. I can’t help but feel sorry for those who are discriminated and get dirty looks while walking down the street. Yet, I think everybody understands the difference between extremists and and other Muslims. Why tip toe around labeling terrorists?
I do not know if anyone will read this post – I have sat on it a while as I pondered what is actually being said.
Make no mistake about it – not ALL muslims are terrorists, however, the Q’uran is quite clear about those that do not follow allah – bottom line is that they must be killed.
Islam is NOT a religion of peace, as our President has come to state publicly, but one that advocates the elimination of any ‘infidel’. There is no mincing of words in their own Q’uran, whether you read it in the original Arabic or any of the translations available. There is NO tolerance for anything BUT belief and adherence to the teachings of the Q’uran – period!
As many people do with the Bible to discredit Christians and Jews by taking items out of context, many do the same with the Q’uran to support muslims and Islam.
I find it amusing and sad that there are people who try to compare muslim extremists with Christian Fundamentalists or the Jewish people. When was the last time there was a terrorist attack attributed to or responsibility for one claimed by a Christian group?
The mistaken belief that muslims worship the same god that Christians and Jews do is also laughable. There is but one God, and His name is NOT ‘Allah’.
